This powder works , but you really need to shake it up to dissolve.

I am very happy with this electrolyte powder. I was sick of buying them at Walmart with sucralose. This is a little more expensive, but it was the best price I could find per ounce without any artificial sweeteners. It is not very sweet, it’s stronger on the lemon, but it tastes natural to me. I mix it with Miralax sometimes so that the Miralax doesn’t give me hyponatremia, and now I can barely taste the Miralax, which I think is disgusting and tastes like plastic. Nothing else has masked that taste for me! I also love it with just water for workouts. I’m never in the mood for sweet water after a workout so this is perfect. If you let it sit, you do have to stir it or shake it every now and then. When I’m done, there will be a tiny amount of powder that didn’t dissolve, but I’ve never found electrolytes where that wasn’t the case. The only improvement would be to include a measuring spoon. I don’t have a 2/3 tsp measuring spoon so I just use a little more than a half tsp.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now. First off, it tastes good, like you’d expect from a good powdered lemonade Secondly, there are many negative reviews about it not dissolving well. This is false in my experience. It’s actually got a strong flavor, so a small amount goes a long way. I put 2/3 ts in a pint of water and shake it up. It’s great, with no settling of undisolved powder.
I wanted to get more potassium and electrolytes into my diet, so I went with this product. I believe the negativity surrounding some reviews is that this is the best priced of the various powders out there. The people charging $50 for the same product don’t want to lose out to a lower priced competitor.
I will but it again, which will probably be 6 months from now because it lasts. A serving is like 5 cents! Give it a try, you’ll be happy with it. Oh, and I am not associated with the product in any way. I’m just a price saavy consumer.

The Horbäach Electrolytes Powder is decent for what it offers. It comes in a large 16 oz container, providing 130 servings, which is quite generous. The lemon flavor is refreshing, and it’s great that it’s vegetarian, keto-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten-free, catering to different dietary preferences. However, I found that the powder doesn’t dissolve as easily as I’d hoped, leaving some clumps even after vigorous mixing. Additionally, while the electrolyte content is adequate, it’s not exceptional compared to some other brands. Overall, it’s an okay choice if you’re looking for a basic electrolyte supplement, but it doesn’t stand out significantly in terms of quality or performance. 3/5 Stars!

I never write reviews but for this product I will. The reason this is so cheap is because a large portion of this product is silica. Yep that’s right good old sand. The product doesn’t fully dissolve either and the leftover grit in your bottle is the silica. Your bottle will have a decent amount of undissolved solids (most of which you just drank and added to your GI tract). You can even rub the grit between your fingers and it still won’t dissolve. This is not good. Silica is an additive usually found in cosmetics and it helps powders to not cake up.
I drink tons of electrolytes and this is the first one I’ve bought that leaves a decent portion as undissolved matter. I don’t want to eat silica, do you? Look it up. It’s not great. Go for a brand that doesn’t cut corners. Remember you get what you pay for. And this was by far the cheapest on Amazon. Lesson learned.
And you won’t be able to return this even though it’s Prime. I guess this is what they mean when they say “go pound sand!”

The taste is ok, but it makes my stomach upset and doesn’t help with my pots symptoms

It’s a hot day… this are sweating… I won’t name them… but you are looking to replace the electrolytes that you lost from sweating… buy this. It has great ingredients and taste good. If I had to explain the taste, it somewhat taste like the water you have at weddings and they have a lemon or two sitting in the water dispenser. Yup, it’s decent. The only issue I have is sometimes it doesn’t dissolve and it sits on the bottom and is gritty toward the end when I’m about to finish my shaker bottle. But… that happens with alot of supplements. I will be buying this again.

I am both an endurance cyclist, and a consumer of Horbach health supplements. As a big mileage road cyclist, hydration is essential to circumventing the dreaded muscle cramping, even as proper nutrition is essential to avoiding the dreaded “bonk”.
Over the years, I have used 6 or 7 of the electrolyte powder formulas in my water bottles. Some are more effective than others. Some are more agreeable tasting than others (I cannot bear the cloying sweetness of a few, however effective they may be). When I recently discovered that Horbach is offering an electrolyte mix, I had high expectations, as my history with their products is altogether a happy one. So, understandably I was puzzled by the less than flattering reviews of more than a few.
Yesterday I took delivery of my first tub of the Horbach electrolyte mix. First, the understated lemon flavor and sweetening are exactly what I need to make adequate hydrating less of a chore. Well done on that score! And secondly, the mix ability difficulty is highly overstated. Most of these formulas leave traces of mineral residue in the bottom of the bottle. No big hindrance for me. If the product is palatable (Horbach certainly is) and adequately replenishes minerals lost through sweat (Horbach appears to, though I’ve not yet tried it for a century), then what’s the squawk over a few grains undisclosed?
And finally, value needs to be mentioned. Here, the Horbach formula is without peer. It’s a tad over just half the cost of competitors. All said, thank you Horbach for yet another economical and, most of all, effective product. You have found a loyal customer in me!
