At time of purchase this was the cheapest 60+ lbs set of dumbbells on Amazon. Literally half the price of nearly any other. However let’s face it. You get what you pay for.
These are made of clay so to get to the weight they’re HUGE compared to the cast iron set on the right. They look ridiculous. The bars are longer than standard to accommodate all the bulk. The plastic handles on the bars are comfortable but won’t be as grippy as standard ones. The connector rings are nylon not metal but they are slightly flexible and will probably hold up better than some of the cheap cast white metal ones some others use. They do smell a little but not as bad as other reviews indicated.
Overall you lose some versatility with these huge weights as you can’t add to them but they’re easy to take apart and put together. I thought I would return these but they serve a purpose.

I love these man! It was easy to put together and the handles feel really good when I’m doing my bench press.
The weights feel just right when I’m doing my exercises, the grip doesn’t feel slippery when I’m sweating.
I’d recommend this to anyone that takes workouts seriously!

I love the customization options of this item! You don’t have to go to the store and get more you can just slap on a new weight! All in one dumbbell it’s a great product I enjoy it very much!

If you don’t want to pay big bucks this is the set to grab. Yes they are plastic, yes they aren’t nice and shiny looking but who cares, value for money.

I thought this was gonna be too light or cheap but trust me this is one of my best purchases and a great start to my home gym. I recommend it fully !

Everything was perfect except for the published weights on each plastic plates. I have a scale and some of them are within the posted numbers while some of them were far off. Either way, it’s fine and it’s a bang for the buck. Handle bar is sturdy (it’s metal) and not painful to hold in the palm. Will definitely recommend!

This item is worth the money

I bought these for my 13-year-old grandson because he wanted to bulk up. The weight was just perfect for him and he was happy that he can adjust it as well. I thought that it was a pretty good price for myself and he really didn’t care what color that it was they seemed to be pretty durable. I think the performance in color was great for him

Here is some info for anyone considering these:
Pros:
– Good price
– The weights have a flat profile and stack neatly when not on a bar.
– The weights are plastic. This makes them quieter than metal weights and softer on your floors.
– The dumbells fit big hands.
Cons:
– If you put all the heaviest weights on one dumbell, you’ll max out at about 37 pounds.
– The weight locks and the weights are plastic, so won’t last as long as metal.
Additional info:
– There’s a smell and some powder film on the weights. You should wipe them all down before use.
– The dumbell bars weigh about a pound each, whereas typical bars weigh 5-10 pounds. I wouldn’t trust these bars to hold substantial weight.

there was some gunk on the “plates”, I’m assuming concrete? and they’re a little big for the weight, but I’m almost 50, and don’t foresee myself ever needing anything heavier, so this is perfect for my situation. they are also a little smelly, but I assume that’ll go away eventually?

These dumbbells are decent. They are affordable. Pro is that they are adjustable. Major con for me, and the reason I will be selling them, they are awkward and cumbersome to use in a smaller setting. The handle is way too long and it makes it awkward to hold and use when you are trying to do longer flys in a smaller space. When you have a lot of weight on one bar , the dumbbell becomes unhandy. I have to replace them with a more contained design in order to do certain workouts. Overall they are good for shoulder workouts and biceps. Hard to use on triceps. Fine for back , but very difficult to use for chest presses or flys, or anything with more than 25lbs per bar as it becomes tricky to maintain form and handling.

I’ve been using the Yaheetech Adjustable Dumbbells Weight Set for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. This set is fantastic for home gym strength training, offering a versatile range of weights (44LB/66LB) suitable for both women and men. The adjustable feature allows me to quickly switch between different weights, making my workouts more efficient.
The dumbbells are solidly built, and the four spinlock collars ensure the weights stay securely in place during my exercises. I appreciate the convenience and functionality they bring to my fitness routine. Whether I’m doing curls, presses, or rows, these dumbbells have been reliable and effective.
However, there is one minor drawback that I need to mention—the dumbbells had a weird smell when I first unpacked them. It was quite strong and took a few days to dissipate. While it didn’t affect the performance of the weights, it was a bit off-putting initially. Thankfully, airing them out in a well-ventilated area seemed to do the trick.
Despite the initial smell, the Yaheetech Adjustable Dumbbells are a great addition to my home gym. They offer excellent value for the price, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile and sturdy weight set. Four stars!

I am very amazed with this product. It arrived 1 week early and everything was in perfect condition.
Everybody’s saying there was a weird smell when they got it and of course there’s gonna be a bit of a smell for christ sakes their plastic dumbells. They were dirty but they took 1.5 weeks to arrive so I didn’t expect them to be clean (you have to wash them).
Now the max weight one dumbell can hold is about 37 lbs which is pretty darn good. It says nowhere that they go up to 66lbs one dumbell but, if you really want to you can put them in a strong bag that can hold 66lbs and rep that. They are made out of plastic so they won’t last a lifetime but, they hopefully will last 1-2 years. Easy to assemble.
Overall I would give them a 9/10 for their price, weight, and accessibility. Would recommend if you are on a budget.
