This is really valuable product but the cost for which we paid….the vendor charged us installation charges separately

This should have been informed / or updated as part of product description

First off, I am 58 yrs old, 6’5, and weigh 300 lbs. This machine, in packaging, is very heavy. 250 lbs, long and difficult to get moved around, especially around corners or up stairs. Make sure you have help.

The set-up to assemble the machine, un-package it, clear the area, lay everything out, make sure tools and power access are all ready, took about an hour.

The machine has the minimum tools required to assemble it, all the parts were there and in good condition. The machine was undamaged, the packaging is excellent and protected the unit very well.

The actual assembly was VERY easy, the assembly instructions were clear and correct. Assembly took 45 minutes.

**The one problem we have had is: If the machine is plugged in and the power switch is on, but the key is not inserted (in E0 displayed mode) it trips the circuit breaker in our home panel. The 15 amp circuit breaker on the unit does not prevent this.

We just make sure the unit is powered OFF when not in use as per the instructions. However, this didn’t happen with our other Treadmill.**

Regardless of this one issue we have noted thus far, this is a great product, and I recommend it. I have about 12 miles on it this week. It is smooth, stable, quiet, durable, and we really like it. The display is easy to see, and the layout is user friendly.

The price was a bit on the higher side, but the value for that price is worth it. If we have any real negative issues in the next few months of use, I will update as needed.

This is a very good product, and the company did a great job designing and manufacturing it.

***11 October 2023, 7 months after purchase and still in warranty***

Had a problem with several error codes and impromptu shutdowns. Contacted the company, and they got the info they needed to make a decision as I kept them up to date as too how often it error coded and which codes.

They communicated well, and sent a replacement Circuit Board once they decided that would be the fix, as well as an “L” bracket that was broken. I had the part for about 2 weeks, and they were unable to get a technician in the area to do the repair.

I finally told them I could do it if they assisted, and they did. Paige, and several other CSR’s were involved. I sent pics of the current install, and Paige confirmed it was correct, I then replaced the board using the picture/installed Board as the template. I did the “Calibration” procedure as directed by Paige, and everything seems to be working fine now. I’ll verify no issues over the next couple weeks.

Not a perfect solution, but if you have a bit of mechanical aptitude, that repair and their assistance is not very difficult. Hopefully, they get more Techs.**

I’ve done a lot of research on different treadmills on Amazon and others out there. This is my 2nd treadmill we have owned.

Customer Service: Top notch 5 star rating talking to someone in our country – fantastic. I encountered an E2 error about 21 months after we bought it. Guess what? The company is sending me the new electrical component (still under warranty!!!), a new belt, and 2 bottles of silicone to get the proper belt lubrication. I was amazed I was still covered and very thankful. Thank you Paige for helping me out and assisting me there!

Weight: People should 5 start this on weight. My previous treadmill was a dinosaur in weight compared to this treadmill. Not only does it fold up nicely for relocation or moving purposes, but it is so much lighter than other treadmills.

Subscription: Not needed – a MAJOR factor when looking for treadmills. It is so annoying as Americans how much forced marketing and hostage subscriptions we are forced into. No subscription here so perfect.

Functionality & Setup: Super easy again compared to my other model. Will be a breeze and in both cases I had to go up or down stairs and this on a dolly cart felt like light work in comparison. But I exercise regularly so those that don’t may need an extra person if you are facing stairs up or down.

Fan: C’mon they all are very weak and just an industry standard feature. Any treadmill user knows a commercial fan needs to be put in front of the treadmill if a person is concerned on sweating too much.

Belt: Does a great job and doesn’t slip as much as my previous belt. Important to note the real problem is shoe bottom material. The softer the rubber like material it’ll warm up and lose traction. I’m on the hunt for perfect treadmill shoes that can take heating up from running and friction.

Otherwise no complaints and I plan to stick with this brand in the future – thanks!

    Good stuff

Excellent treadmill, not quite commercial gym quality but solidly built with sweet blue LCD screen and Bluetooth FTMS that works great with Zwift and Kinomap. I put this together myself but had to lay on my back and hold up the verticals with my feet using my hands to connect the wiring and bolt the verticals to the base, definitely a job meant for two people.

The box is huge and heavy, looked okay but my motor cover was cracked. Called Spirit and they registered the treadmill and shipped me the replacement cover. Kudos to Spirit for answering the phone quickly and taking care of the shipping damage without any hassle.

I am 6′-0″, 235# and jog, run intervals and race pace on this thing no problem. The motor is powerful enough and the frame sturdy. Mainly use the treadmill with Zwift and Kinomap. Zwift works fine but they still won’t implement auto incline control so it isn’t as seamless as it could be. Kinomap however does control the treadmill’s incline and it is really nice, but the video quality is hit or miss. Bluetooth FTMS works great on the TRX4500.

Pure manual mode is nice too. The readout shows not only speed in mph but pace which is nice and you get a visual of a track which helps with intervals.

When jogging and running, the console does shimmy so trying to watch Netflix on your tablet is going to be frustrating, but you’re golden if you are just going to be walking. I’m using a stand mounted TV for the running apps and watching YouTube or Netflix so it’s a non-issue. The True and Life Fitness treadmills at the gyms I go to are more solid with just a bit of mild console shimmy when running. The Xterra has about the same I noticed in the Soles, Proforms and NordicTracks I tried out before buying the Xterra.

Overall a solid treadmill capable of running and interval training with linebacker sized runners, FTMS Bluetooth for Zwift and Kinomap and a great value.
