For the price they are durable and they are very good! I did not want to buy an expensive pair as I was new to kickboxing I loved these so much they are cheap and so durable I bought two pairs

Super Passform, angenehm zu tragen und für Anfänger geeignet. Benutze sie jetzt bereits über einen Monat und habe noch keine Makel festgestellt.

I take a HIIT (high intensity interval training) boxing class twice a week. There is bag work but no sparring. I had been using the provided gloves and wraps but decided it was more hygienic to get my own so I was looking for inexpensive but quality gloves and warps. Several boxing blogs recommended Venum, and one specifically recommended the Challenger 2.0 for beginners. I use the 14 oz gloves (the “size” is based on your height and weight and how you will be using them not your hand size) because those are considered good for both bag work and sparring should I ever decide to do that.

I’ve now been using these gloves for two weeks in conjunction with the Venum Kontact Gel Glove Wraps Venum “Kontact” Gel Glove Wraps, Black and the combination is great. The gloves are snug but not constricting and they feel very secure with the wraps on underneath them. I am able to close the large velcro closures easily and tightly (using my teeth to close my right hand after my left hand is already gloved).

I was a little apprehensive when I first tried them on, though. They seemed very tight and my hands are what I would consider medium. This turned out to just be new product stiffness and they totally softened up during that first class. They are super comfy, much better than the class provided gloves.

As for care, I wipe off the entire glove, inside and out, with anti-bacterial wipes after every class then lay them out in the sun with the velcro closures open. I do the same with the wraps I wear. I’ve read where you can put them in the freezer to destroy any lingering bacteria. I haven’t tried that yet, but probably will when they are a few more weeks older.

Upon joining a gymnasium I was actually given a pair of gloves free because of the membership, but something soon nagged at me. Whenever I practiced my punching in terms of boxing I felt like I wasn’t doing the best that I could. It was just that, a feeling. Soon I looked into it, and it is true…the gloves can seriously affect the experience of the training or workout in the long term.

These gloves are good for people who are intermediate skill, or those who are more serious about their training or even have a bit more money to spend in terms of the gear they use. You’ll notice that the wrap around the wrist goes around completely, some cheaper gloves only go halfway. Getting that extra leverage with the wrists means you have the support for your strikes and you can hit harder without fear of hurting yourself.

For those who want to get the most out of their experience, it is best to do a bit of research before buying gloves if you really decide to go down that path. The colour and style is also better than the stale black, if you’re going to train or box..do it with some new age gloves. Depending on the size of your hands, they fit well with hand-wraps. You don’t want it to be too tight, otherwise it will hurt and you won’t train..just hurt yourself.

The quality of the gloves will give you decent wear and tear without fear of buying another pair too soon. The sample pictures don’t do the gloves justice, they look a bit better than you think and when you’re using them you will get noticed.

These gloves are fire. I workout with these 2-3 times a week and get the best workout with them. I use the 12oz. My arms are wayyy more toned. Fit great, durable, easy to clean, not to heavy, and great wrist support. LOVE. THEM.

Lo Consiglio per la Buona costruzione e buoni materiali. Stabilità al polso. Forma adeguata per le dita, che in altri modelli ho trovato corta e quindi molto scomoda. Più adatto per una mano grande.
