Very high quality as you’d expect from Trigger Point. Item is exactly as shown and comes in a cardboard box with a few instructions. Note that the foam on the outside is very firm, as the name indicates. There is very little cushion but that’s what is able to perpetrate the muscles deeper than softer rollers. The texture on the roller is also well designed to offer a few different ways to roll out tight muscles. Made in China. It’s expensive for what it is but I believe it’s the best on the market.

Note: I’m a active runner/swimmer/biker with an aging body and activities like stretching and rolling keep my body feeling young. Before seeing a doctor for a non-serious ailment, invest in some good equipment (like this roller) and take the time to stretch, roll and strength train several times a day. Those activities will certainly prevent a few visits to the doctor or PT.

  2. Súper!! Ideal para después de entrenar

Útil para después de entrenar o antes de algún juego

So glad I finally invested in a foam roller. I’ve had tension in my upper back for as long as I can remember, resulting in constant dull pain and increased headaches. After a fair amount of research I chose this roller, liking the stiff inner cylinder surrounded by firm foam. I used it immediately out of the box, and felt instant noticeable relief. Roll slowly and you can get a nice “pop” out of your back, or linger in one spot to reach massage-like pressure points. It feels sturdy and long-lasting, but it really is FIRM, and use can be on the edge of painful, but for me it is well worth the benefits.

Best roller by a long shot. Very durable, and hard enough to work out knots when the softer ones won’t work for you anymore. It also not so hard that it causes bruising with full weight on it (I’ve found some that do…) If you want to own only one roller for pain relief/tissue therapy, this is the one to get. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the grooves, but they actually work well, and balancing on the shorter length isn’t a problem because of the smaller diameter.

    I literally love this thing.

This roller is FIRM!!! If you can’t take any sort of pain, don’t buy this. If you need relief from tight muscles, and you enjoy the pain of deep tissue, this roller is for you! I use it on my legs, front, back, in and outside and on my back. This thing works GOOD!!!

This is a genuine product. This is one of the best rollers in the world. This is the roller you get if you seriously want performance and real recovery. Everything else made by cheap Indian brands is crap. This will cost you, but this will be worth your money and then some.

Excellent foam roller size. I thought it would be too narrow but it is perfect.
    Pros
    Tough material
Doesn’t give in when extra weight is placed on it
    Long lasting
Multiple uses and it hasn’t fallen apart or shed

    Cons
    None

I’m a runner. I’ve been foam-rolling for a few years now, and I’ve found it dramatically decreases how often I need to take a day off. I foam-roll my calves and thighs immediately before, and then again after, any hard training.

Let’s be clear about one thing: this is the most firm foam-roller I have ever used. And that’s a good thing, once you’re ready for it.

If you are unfamiliar with self-massage using a foam roller, there are many articles explaining the concept just a few mouse-clicks away. To summarize, the idea is to decrease post-workout discomfort and downtime by improving the performance of the lymphatic system. Basically, you press sore parts of your body against a firm object using a rolling motion, which moves the byproducts of anaerobic respiration away from the muscles and toward the lymph nodes.

    PRO:
-firmness: words do not describe this well. But it is good for working on deep knots.
-fit and finish: no rough edges or uncomfortable spots.
-hollow: you can stuff other gym gear into the middle during transport, unlike a solid roller.
-strong: supports up to 500 lbs of static load, should never wear out.
-suggestions: The inside of the cardboard packaging shows several ways to use a foam roller, which is great for newbies.

    CON: (none really)
-price: similar designs are available under $20 (but they aren’t as nice)
-packaging: somewhat hard to figure out how to remove.
-newbie-friendliness: a roller this firm can be extremely uncomfortable if you work out a lot, but don’t presently perform self-massage afterward. try a softer model for starting, you’ll thank me later.

I used to carry the normal GRID and a lacrosse ball. Now I just use this.

This is great for those hard to get knots. Expect pain and deep messaging. My only complaint is that in their eagerness to give you different message zones they sprinkle them about around the roller so you can’t actually focus on one zone. If you want the flat zone and you move forward or backward much at all you are in in a banded zone. If you want the bumpy grid zone and you move forward or backward your are immediately in a banded zone. Doesn’t seem like that was tested thoroughly…

    Perfect!

I’m in physical therapy recovering from knee surgery and was turned onto rolling muscles there. I immediately went to the hardest foam roller they have but it was still a bit soft for me.

This thing is really firm without being a pointy edge. It’s pretty awesome if you ask me. Pain tolerance is very subjective so here’s a basis for comparison: I’m the type of person that uses broomstick wedged between the wall and the floor poking into my hamstring, I’ll find where it hurts most, and I lean all of my weight into it. Take that as you will, but with that in mind, this roller isn’t “too soft” for me. I like it very much.

Also, I’m 6’3″ 195lbs and the 13″ width works just fine for me. I do not roll two legs at once though…I get all of my weight over each leg separately the maximize the effect. If I was doing both legs at once it may be a tad short.
