I cut a few strips and tied a few loops of varying length, and it keeps together nicely. There’s plenty of material too

I am a ballet and fitness instructor and I bought this to use for my dancers. They love that I’ll cut off a length for them to take home to practice and stretch and strengthen with. I like the feel of the non-latex much better than the latex bands, and they smell less weird too. I find that the roll lasts me longer and is more cost effective for how I use it with my students. I also took a step up from the RED strength to the GREEN and it’s just enough, but not too much more. I like to learn new ways to use them for strength and flexibility for my dance and Pilates students by watching videos on YouTube and by reading articles on my favorite dance teaching blogs.

Who, besides a therapist, would ‘LOVE’ a product like this. Still, it works fine and there is a noticeable, if slight degree of increased resistance in this band over the green band just below it in the therapy series. I’m just one recovering hip transplant patient so buying a whole 25 some yards of this might have been ‘overkill.’ I enjoy using stretchy bands and therapy putty to strengthen and improve the flexibility of my hands and wrists. The process is restful and yields gentle improvement that I didn’t get from hand weights or the machines at the gym or rehab center. At the same time, it is more convenient for me to use different lengths of band than it is to grab a long band closer to the middle for some exercises and farther out on the ends for others. Each section is long-lasting but I still feel that I will want to use more lengths as time goes by for maintenance purposes.
The LATEX-FREE part of this is very significant. Some people react to latex or to the powder that was applied to the band material to keep it from sticking together. I did not find this non-latex formula to be irritating.

Although different in design as well as material, this non-latex TheraBand product does appear to function similarly to the latex product in resistance exercises. This non-latex band appears thicker, has a less shiny appearance, is less translucent, has negligible odor, and is narrower (~10 cm) compared to the latex product (~13 cm). Although TheraBand recommends 5-foot (60-inch) lengths for most uses, two latex bands received in a TheraBand kit were 63 and 65 inches. Cutting this 25-yard bulk product to 64-inch lengths should provide 14 bands.

Theraband is the gold standard in rehab supplies. Use this for my group exercise classes. Works great in about 30” sections.
