This is a non-greasy, non-irritating cream that provided nearly instantaneous relief when I applied it to my sore spots. It absorbed quickly and has a very nice cooling effect as well. There is a strong sort of menthol smell, similar to Campho Phenique, but I found it pleasant. It lasted about 15-20 minutes.
The bottle is a bit odd though. There is a pump and no matter what I tried, I could not use light pressure to dispense just a little bit of product. I had to pretty much push the top down completely for the product to dispense. The spout is also kind of short so you need to have your hand or finger right below it to catch the product. It was a bit trickier to try to pump this directly onto my skin. I pumped it out, then used an empty roller ball stick to apply it and massage it in (keeps my hands cleaner). I wish this came in a tube instead for easier control with dispensing the product.
Otherwise, still a very good product! The dispenser is not a deal-breaker. You just need to figure out how to dispense it for your needs.

As a long distance trail runner, I’ve always got something sore and this Sore Muscle Cream was very much needed. This cream rubs in well and sure seems to aid in my recovery vs just letting time doing it’s thing. At around $13.00 as of the time of this review, this is an excellent value. So far it seems like a great product and doesn’t leave your skin all greasy.

I like this! It’s very cooling and soothing. Easy to dispense with the pump function. I’m not a body builder but get very sore from working. I recommend this! Thank you!

My family is involved in competitive swimming, and part of that is running and weights to build muscle. We are no strangers to muscle balms.
One of the teens is a dedicated Tiger Balm user, but the rest are open to experimenting.
This is a white cream and has a fairly strong smell. Definitely wash your hands after application. It does a nice job at removing some pain but it is the same as any other brand we have used — not as bad as some, but certainly not better than most. For the price, we expected better than most.

Love this cream! Leaves my sore muscles feeling relaxed! Also love that the product rubs in easy and is not sticky or tacky! Definitely recommend!

This is an excellent product! It works wonders for sore muscles. It does have the typical menthol smell & leaves your hands with a slight residue. But our family is very happy with this cream!

I love the cool soothing effects of menthol on sore muscles. This BodyBuilder’s Cream includes numerous additional soothing ingredients that aren’t in my usual brand. The menthol scent is strong upon application, but it doesn’t linger. The soothing effects are long lasting and the cream absorbs into the skin quickly. The price is also comparable to other brands that I often use. It’s good stuff and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again!!

I liked how this cream felt and it goes on nicely without much residue, but the camphor smell is just too overwhelming. I’ve never found camphor to be beneficial in pain relief cream but other people must because it is so often included. Note that lidocaine is not one of the 19 medicinal ingredients. Menthol is listed at 3.7%, which is higher than the 1% in Icy Hot lidocaine plus menthol, but not as high as the Icy Hot 5% menthol only products or the whopping 11% in Tiger Balm (which also has a whole lot of camphor). The price is competitive with other specialty products like this but not when compared to mass market products that have existed for decades.
