Perfect timing. Just yesterday I traveled to a big city for an event which required LOTS of walking and using subway stairs all day. After knee replacement surgery some time ago, I’m still not used to the extensive ‘exercise’ I did in the 10 hrs in the city. Wow – are my legs really sore today, so now I have a 3-tube set of muscle & joint relief that I applied and I noticed a big difference within a very short period of time. I plan to use this soothing gel for the rest of this week and I’m confident that it will help. Then I’ll pull it out when my arthritis acts up.
Made in the USA and marked with exp date of July 2029, these gel tubes are now a staple in my house. You don’t always need much, it’s not a thick gel (thinner, so squeeze slowly), it isn’t sticky, and a little goes a comforting way. I expected a super strong smell, but although very noticeable at first it does dissipate as it soaks in & dries and it’s worth it. Note: They say on the tube to wash hands with “cool” water (not hot) after using. The order arrived quickly and each tube is sealed under the cap. Great product and is recommended.

This is a gel with menthol in it. If menthol helps you, then this is a great option.
It feels very cool when you apply it. I’m not sure how far it sinks in to really help.
I applied it to my foot with plantar fasciitis and it felt soothing at the time. It might take the edge off a bit!

If you have sore muscles or joints, you’re probably tried ointments such as BenGay or Biofreeze.
Enter a new brand, “Sub Zero”. Our first impression is quite favorable. This particular product is a three-pack unit consisting 4oz. each of the Sub Zero cooling relieving pain gel. The gel itself is transparent color and the camphor smell is quite obvious but not overpowering. The three pack should last you several months even at a normal rate of consumption.
Performance: Actually quite swift and good. Both my wife and I tried this and we got the same immediate relief as another product that also referenced sub zero temperature. Because the main ingredient is menthol (3.9% strength), is is quite comparable in performance to other similar pain relievers.
Both my wife and I tried the Subzero brand over the past few days,and we got the same pain relief effect as the other better known brand. The smell is great and effect of the gel was seen from 15 mins onwards. There was no staining in the clothes. The price is right.
Based on the effective relief we got, and at a very reasonable price, I will grant this full five stars.

Great pain relief for muscles and joint pain. The smell is very strong, but all pain, relief, medicines or anyways. It’s very effective and very easy to apply and I think it’s worth the cost since the value is good

This cooling pain relief clear (cloudy?) gel is a bit on the thin side so goes on thin, absorbs fast, and dries quickly. It has a minimal smell that disappears quicker than other pain gels. You feel a bit of cool right away that intensifies for a while. It doesn’t last for hours but I feel it went deeper so it’s a balance… I’d like the cooling to last a bit longer but I feel like it’s still working even without the noticeable cool.
I’m excited to keep using this and I’ll update if anything changes, good or bad.

I’ve used other brands that I feel like work better. Was hoping to find without that “old person” pain relief smell but this smells like the others. It’s OK but was hoping for more.

The Sub Zero Cooling Pain Relief Gel worked for me. I did not notice any strong smell when I used the product. I could feel the heat from the gel shortly after I applied it. Even though this gel does not contain as much active product as a name brand, it gets the job done.
I use it on my lower back so I have a foam applicator I apply the gel with. This makes it easier to apply and keeps my hands clean. I will note that if you sit with your back pressed into a cushion on a chair, you will feel the heat more intensely. I noticed this sitting outside on some patio furniture.
I am happy with the product and look forward to using it as needed.

My husband’s joints and muscles are always so achy and hurting him from his line of work so we’re always trying to find new things to help relieve some pain. This stuff works really well I usually put on where he needs like an hour or so before his shower as he doesn’t like to go to bed smelling like the cream or wanting to get it all over the bed or clean clothes. The smell isn’t to strong. He says it really helps and definitely can start feeling it work with in minutes. Just a little bit goes a long way on it and it comes in a great value pack of three we haven’t even went through one bottle yet so should last us a great while.
