I recently purchased the Stamina 36 inch Durable Rugged Steel Frame Folding Trampoline and couldn’t be more happier. I read some reviews before deciding to make this purchase. The instructions were well-illustrated and easy to follow. I knew I would need help assembling. I opened an assembled the trampoline the same day it arrived with the help of my husband. He carefully held one side while I carefully pulled down the other and he ended up carefully standing on it to secure it while I re-inserted the pins on each side. We gently put the cover on making sure to align the holes with the legs and once the cover was on screwed each leg on. Flipped the trampoline over and it was ready for use.

I have bounced and jumped on the trampoline and love it so far. I also downloaded the free muuv app fitness app. I appreciate the personalized workouts with smart guided coaching, exercise demo videos, which caters to my fitness level and goals.

The trampoline is very well made and feels incredibly sturdy. The bounce is springy, soft, making it perfect for both low-impact bouncing and more intense cardio workouts. My kids love it and I enjoy jumping on it. We feel good knowing that the cover provides protection around the edge. Overall, the trampoline has been a fantastic addition to my fitness routine and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality, durable and fun trampoline.

*Included: trampoline, padded support bar, bungee pull cords for arm exercises, electronic jump counter, exercise video, all hardware and tools necessary for assembly.
*Parts: Oval jump pad, 6 feet with rubber bottoms (including two with predrilled holes to attach support bar legs), 6 bolts to attach the feet (one bolt per foot), 1 hex wrench (to attach each bolt to each foot), 2 wide vertical support bar legs with 2 bolts going through (to attach to predrilled feet; accepts the narrower adjustable height leg bars), 2 narrow vertical support bar legs with curved end (inserts into wider support bar legs, allowing height adjustment; curves to meet the horizontal support bar), 1 padded horizontal support bar (curves to meet the legs), 4 curved washers + 4 locking washers + 4 acorn nuts + wrench (to attach support leg to predrilled trampoline feet), bungee cords (for arm exercises; slips over foot on each end of the trampoline), battery powered jump counter and arm to attach counter, exercise CD in protective case
*Pro • comes with the jump pad assembled, so needs only legs added.
    • Support bar, bungee pull cords, and jump counter optional.
    • jump pad very safe with no springs to pinch.
    • comes with all hardware and tools needed for assembly. Using own wrench or pliers would be easiest and more comfortable, however.
    • easy to assemble: 1) separate two legs that have predrilled holes and choose one of the long sides of the jump pad to insert them. 2) insert the other four legs, leaving two on each long side and one on each short side. You may choose to slide the two bungee pull cords onto the feet on each short side if desired, or place them later. If placing later, slip the rubber feet off of the trampoline foot on each narrow end of the trampoline, and slide the bungee pull cord on before reattaching rubber foot 3) over each foot, lift the edge of the trampoline pad covering to expose the area for screwing a single bolt into each of the six feet, using the included hex/allen wrench. 4-5) Assemble support bar, and attach support bar to trampoline. Choice a: Assemble support bar first, then bolt onto feet of trampoline. Choice b: Bolt each vertical support bar leg onto trampoline feet, then insert horizontal support bar between them. *Vertical legs have a welded nut to accomodate the height adjustment knobs, and face forward toward the trampoline pad. *The legs of the support bar bolt onto the trampoline feet with predrilled holes. *Attaching the vertical support legs to the trampoline: Leg has two bolts going through. a) Insert the bolts through the leg and through the predrilled holes of the feet, so that the leg stands beside the foot with a rounded separator between the two. b) add a curved, flat washer onto each bolt end that sticks out c) add a round ring locking washer next d) cap off with the acorn nut. May use included wrench but using own wrench or pliers would be more efficient and easier. *Assembling five pieces of support bar: a) insert end of padded horizontal bar into each curved vertical tube. Pinch in the springy buttons from the ends of the padded bar, and when inserted they pop out through the predrilled hole of the curved vertical tube. b) insert the vertical bottom of each curved tube into the wider mouth of each leg tube. c) Choose the height desired, and insert the height adjustment knob through the wider leg into the narrower leg.
    • adjustment knobs work great to hang the handles of the bungee pull cords from, keeping them off the ground and reducing tripping hazard.
Con: • the knobs to adjust the support bar difficult to screw into place initially
    • the knobs to adjust the support bar can only face forward, but would look better and would eliminate the possibility of a jumping child scraping against them if the predrilled holes allowed them to face backward on the backside of the bars
    • rubber hose of the bungee pull cords will attract dust and hair
    Additional information:
    • comes in a very large box, which can be used nicely when building a fort, pup tent, roof of a play house, or as a painting or drawing surface before discarding.
    • people closer to 6′ tall should not try to jump as high as they can if under an 8′ ceiling.
    • not as long as a toddler bed, but almost. Can easily double as a toddler bed by adding a cut down mattress pad, then using a toddler sheet to cover. Pad can be stored beneath the trampoline during the day. If worried about rolling off, it is not far above the ground but if desired a bumper or net can be attached to the support bars. Bed idea can be extended by placing a crate or wooden box beside it to extend length, and having a mattress pad cover both the trampoline and the crate so that the pillow is on the trampoline and the feet on the crate or box. We do this and it works great!
    • though made for one person, a child can jump safely with an adult or with another child if holding onto the support bar.
    • if worried about strangulation hazard for younger children, do not attach bungee pull cords.

UPDATE: 15 days of using this just to get my blood pumping because I do so much work on the computer, and I am pleasantly surprised to find that I have lost a little over 2 pounds! I usually use it for 10 minutes at a time, at least 3 times per day (just before mealtime, usually). I’ve also notice that my cardio fitness has improved. I don’t wear myself out on the trampoline – I just put some Motown music on and bounce to the beat – it doesn’t seem like much effort, but apparently, it’s enough for overall health improvements in a very short time.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: By the time I was done reading all of the warnings, etc, I must confess, I was scared of severe injury or death and started having doubts about whether I even wanted to try it! I got it so that I could get some low-impact cardio as a way to break up the vast amount of time that I must spend on the computer (my job – but I mostly work from home). Going to the gym is great, but it’s a minimum of 2 hours out of my day which is not always reasonable. Going for a walk is also great, but not always feasible (weather, etc). I looked into under-desk cyclers, etc, but I knew my knees would bang the underside of the desk (and it probably wouldn’t add much cardio), so I decided to try the trampoline – it was very reasonably priced, and the reviews seemed good. Of course, it arrived on a day that I was home by myself, so I read all of the instructions where it says you must use 2 STRONG people to unfold it. I don’t consider myself to be STRONG (they put the word STRONG in all caps – and I definitely don’t consider myself STRONG in the all caps sense). In fact, they say you risk death if you try to unfold it by yourself as it could spring back and kill you – so you’re supposed to get 2 STRONG people and hope that they trust each other enough that neither lets go while folding it back. I thought at first they might be over-exaggerating about how strong the tension was in the spring, but they weren’t kidding – no way was I going to unfold this by myself without risking death…unless, as many of us weaklings discovered long ago, we use something as leverage. I took it outside and placed half of the trampoline under my porch railing – I fully trusted that my porch railing would not give way, and then pushed down on the other half of the trampoline railings until it popped open. It didn’t appear completely locked in place, so I gingerly removed it, turned it right side up and pushed down on the rails until it was flat on the ground all the way around. I added the legs and then had fun figuring out how to get the protective coverring on it – the trick to getting that on by yourself is to hook one hole (there are 6 holes in the cover) over one of the leg threads, then screw on the leg to hold it in place. Pull it all the way across to the other side and do the same with that side. Then just work your way around.for each leg – it’s actually pretty easy to do by yourself if you do it that way. So, within minutes I had it put together and jumping away! It seems quite sturdy and well-made, I think I will enjoy being able to get in some quick exercises while I’m working 🙂

Oh, and there’s no way I’m undoing it – it will stay open forever as far as I’m concerned…it’s low enough to fit under a bed if you need to get it out of the way.

Pros: size, stability of trampoline, easy to assemble
Cons: handle/stability bar not very sturdy, stretchy arm bands/resistance bands broke day 1.

We bought this in 2017 for our autistic son who LOVES bouncing! We had a child’s one first and it gave out very quickly under his constant, enthusiastic bouncing. This trampoline gets daily use, is bounced on repeatedly, not delicately, sometimes with daddy on the trampoline too. It’s now December of 2021 and the first strap just broke, so it’s definitely been an amazing purchase! Well worth the money! After all this time, it’s still fairly quiet as well. We will be getting another one soon!

  9. Carlos Rivera

Good product for kids. But I have a common grouse against all the trampolines. How to get the spares. Generally springs are used in all trampolines, which eventually break. I have not been able to get spare springs. Some trampolines use cords, I couldn’t get spare cords too. So you don’t know how to get your trampolines repaired after the sales.
