The rope itself is nothing super special and you can probably find the same thing for cheaper somewhere. It’s thicker than other pvc ropes I’ve used in the past so that’s what really impressed me.
Because it’s thicker and a little heavier, it’s still a solid rope and should be good for beginners to learn as well. To resize the rope, tie knots so you can keep the weight of the rope.
If you’re looking for a decent starter rope, this could be it! Because of how thick it is, it should also be pretty durable (provided you don’t use it on an abrasive surface such as concrete or asphalt).

Finally after liking, commenting, and supporting Rushie S youtube channel for about 2 yrs I decided to see what these ropes were all about. I ordered a few and they’re perfect!
The handles are simple, and the rope material spins freely. You’re able to put as many knots in these 10′ ropes to adjust from 5′ 9″ – 6′ 6″ without any cutting (if you’re shorter than 5′ 9″ maybe some cuts wouldn’t be a bad idea). The weight is nice and you really feel the feedback in the swing, definitely good for freestyle, boxing, and trick style skipping. I love the colors and I’m definitely glad I decided to order them. I have around 10 different ropes, in both my gym bags and work bags but these will be the ones I use.

I started jump roping a few years ago. I’ve tried several brands, but I keep coming back to these specifically. They’re great! I’m on my third rope now. Thanks again!

Got my new speed rope the other day, and man did it make a difference. I’ve been working with a typical weighted grip/ball bearings rope, and there’s just no feedback from the rope. This one is old school fantastic. I’m not tripping over the rope anymore b/c I can’t feel where it is, and I’ve started in with cross-over jumps, which I could never get with the other rope. The yellow color makes it easy to see and I think seeing those flashes of yellow clicking by has helped my timing as well. Even my wife picked it up and spent some time jumping with my new rope, and she hasn’t done that since she was a teenager!
Overall a great rope, and b/c it’s so lightweight and compact vs. my old speed rope, I’m going to pick up another to keep in my bag and work in our gym room here.
Honestly if you have any hesitation or 2nd thoughts as to if this rope is worth it, here’s my answer: Buy the rope.
You’ll be glad you did 🙂

Vale 100% la pena esta cuerda, apenas la empece a usar y sentí la diferencia a la anterior, de menor calidad.

The rope came in about a week after I ordered, and it’s safe to say I was pretty disappointed with how cheap the materials were after spending almost twenty dollars on it. The rope has absolutely no durability; the handles are made of a plastic that made me worry whether they’ll break at any moment. The rope itself was nice and I liked the weight and feel to it, but even as I jump on a mat or softer surface I can feel scratches in the pvc. It’s safe to say I wouldn’t buy again for the price it is right now.

I started jumping over a year ago and thought to give these a try as I have seen them on youtube tutorials. I also have “cross-ropes” which are way more expensive but are built to last.
I believe these two brands are for different purposes. I highly recommend buying the Rush brand for beginners and then move up to cross-rope if one sticks with jumping over time.
The Rush brand products are great value for starters, but they will no hold up on concrete or rough surfaces over time. However, one can always buy another pair since they are priced economically. These ropes are very light and can be fast if the length is adjusted appropriately.
Hope this helps

This is a quality rope with some simple but effective design considerations that makes it better than cheaper ropes.
Firstly the colour, yellow, really pops and stands out.
The thickness of the rope is 5mm. Not too thin but not too thick – it has a great feel and weight and you can tell where it is when you’re jumping. You get good momentum with it.
The holes in the handles where the rope comes out from – these are wider than other basic ropes, so that the rope has free movement. The edges are also nice and smooth – after using it for a couple of weeks I haven’t noticed any digging into the rope. There’s no scratching on it. I’ve noticed on other ropes the handle edges just aren’t finished off and eat into the rope.
The rope has no bearings but it has a very smooth action. Works extremely well for normal jumping, cross overs, double unders etc. (With wire type ropes you’re likely to get more and faster double unders, but having used these too, the “feel” isn’t the same).
All in all this is an enjoyable rope to use and I look forward to using it every time. I’m hoping this will last for a long time.
The maker of this rope, Rush Athletics, has a youtube channel showcasing this rope in action as well as providing tutorials – it’s worth checking out.

Top Quality Rope, has been my go-to for the last few months and just ordered another one in white for my collection. The rope is very soft which makes it feel buttery smooth for tricks and the adjusting mechanism is very good. Great for crossovers, side-swipes and double-unders. The weight is a good balance between speed while still being able to feel the rope from the handles. It does not have an issue of bunching up or twisting in cold weather which was an issue that bothered me with many other ropes I tried before. Was inspired to get a rope like this after watching Floyd Mayweather skipping (rope is probably not the same but it has a similar feel and look).
More than satisfied with my purchase.

Update: 05/01/2018 –
After trying this rope, I do like it alot…I’ve ordered 3 more.
_____________________________________________
It’s good. I like it…and I have, and have had, many ropes, at different price ranges, and a variety of styles and materials (from licorice ropes to Buddy Lee to Crossropes).
The ONLY thing, I can see happening, is the PVC snapping or breaking where it wears against the handle.
Now, fortunately, this isn’t a $50-100 rope, or even $20-30 one…it’s a great price for a really good rope…already ordered another one.
I tried mine out with some others that I own (I have several)…now, I’m no expert…I’m heavy (working on it) , and 6’1, but I do like to jumprope, and I’ve probably given more ropes away than most people have owned….
I tried this one with my Buddy Lee, and my Crossropes….and, rather than pit each one against the other… I’m using them in conjunction, as each has a different “feel” or speed. For example, I’ll use my CR 1/4 lb, or 1/2lb, then rest, then use this one, then my CR 2lb (Beast!!), then back to the 1/4lb, or this one…
This one rivals pricier ropes, and this will be one of my “Travel Rope”
I definitely recommend it.
(actually, already have to some friends)
