I love these. The padding is truly amazing. I use them ONLY for sparring (recommending to have different gloves for sparring and different one for bag/pad work since you’re hitting two different surfaces).
I wouldn’t use these for bag/pad work just bc of the laces. You can just tie them up and put them on but it’s a little different when somebody else ties them up for you.
After 6 months of using them only for sparring, I miss a wrist support. Since the 16oz are huge and heavier than the fighting 10oz, hitting hard sometimes hurt my wrist. But that also might be from my bag training.

Good quality gloves that are comfortable, they have good padding and are just really good gloves

My 15-year-old loves these gloves. He fights in competitions and uses them to train. He’s won silver gloves over five times, and these are his favorite gloves to train with. His favorite part is the laces.

I just got these today and immediately spared with them, they worked great. They are not meant for bag work at all only sparring. The only thing that might be an issue is they run a little big in size compared to cleto and other brands.

Something good about these gloves is for me they honestly feel like punching with Pillows, it’s a good sparring glove. Offering protection for you and your sparring partner, the only thing that I really don’t enjoy are the laces since they are soft material wise, unlike others where the laces are more firm.

Had for 2 months. Bought them for my wife. She says they’re comfortable but not durable. Wish I had read other reviews before buying. Same complaint of gloves coming apart. My wife is only 130 lbs.

These gloves are great. I’ve had them for about a year and spar about 2 or 3 times a week. In general they’re quite comfortable and like other people have said, they’re really well padded at the knuckles so I don’t have to worry about hurting my hand or my sparring partners’ faces. They have been somewhat scraped up, developing a couple of superficial tears on the punching surface and back of the gloves, but show no signs of falling apart completely. The rips on the surface of the gloves have stayed pretty small.
The gloves fit my hands well with when I put handwraps on, but are somewhat loose without 180cm wraps. Without wraps, my hands slide a little too far into the gloves and drives my thumb into the end of the pocket if I punch too hard on the heavy bag. With handwraps, they’re perfectly fine. I’ve been using these with glove dogs and after every use I try to wipe the inside surface with paper towels sprayed with alcohol, so even after a year they don’t smell too bad. The fact that the gloves are lace up make it a bit awkward putting them on and pulling them off frequently (like if I’m doing mitt work and trading off punching/holding with my mitt holder), but it’s not too inconvenient considering I got these gloves at a pretty good price.

I’m thoroughly impressed.
Fit and Feel: The lace-up design allows for a customized fit. Once properly laced, these gloves hug my hands securely without any uncomfortable pressure points. The snug fit enhances my punching technique.
Durability: These gloves are built to last. The stitching is robust, and the leather feels sturdy. Whether I’m hitting the heavy bag or sparring, they hold up well.
Wrist Support: The extended wrist cuff provides excellent support. I feel confident knowing my wrists are protected during intense training sessions.
Breathability: Despite the snug fit, the gloves allow airflow. My hands stay cool, even during extended workouts.
Classic Look: There’s something timeless about lace-up gloves. They evoke a sense of tradition and remind me of boxing legends from the past.

You get what you pay for, nice gloves for the price. I only payed $42 for these gloves. Everyone’s preference is different, these gloves are very comfortable to me. I really like the padding in these gloves. The only Con from my experience was that the synthetic leather did start cracking early. I also use Everlast powerlock lace up gloves and Sanabul essential gel gloves. If I don’t feel like wearing hand wraps these IMF techs have been my go to gloves. After almost two years of use I will be ordering another pair.
