(Pro tip: Some of us love sprinkling it on watermelon for a tasty snack.)

Redmond is a great brand, I also love their spices. The salt in this electrolyte mix has 60+ trace minerals and tastes so good. It does have a “salty” flavor, some people I know love it (like myself) others not so much. The different flavors make it fun, find what works for you. I’ve noticed that the Mixed Berry and Mango have the strongest flavor with a single scoop, other flavors need more of a scoop to have the same level of flavor. I’ve lived off of this stuff during pregnancy and while nursing. And I love that it has zero sugar, zero additives, and makes me feel amazing. My blood work showed it too, very happy kidneys! Another brand that has more salt, is LMNT, or Just Ingredients is great as well.

Love this flavor. Been dieting for the last year, carnivore. This powder helps ensure my electrolytes balance is sufficient. I limit myself to 1 20 ounce serving each day unless I am perspiring.

Bought this in my third trimester to stay hydrated and now I’m hooked. Can’t get through the watermelon lime flavor – too sweet imo – but love the lemon lime. Now that I’m breastfeeding a newborn, helps me drink enough water to keep my milk supply up! Great ingredients, no added garbage, hydration station.

I started using this electrolyte powder when I was pregnant after my midwife suggested adding electrolytes could help with low blood pressure and swelling. I swelled up like a giant balloon with my previous pregnancy and did not swell with this pregnancy. That’s just anecdotal and I can’t tell if the difference was from having more electrolytes or not. I do think it helped me stay hydrated and feeling good.
OK, it is so delicious! I have only ever ordered the watermelon lime because I love it so much. I put one scoop in 32 ounces of water. The suggested amount of water is much less (maybe 16 oz?) and I think people who say they don’t like this or that is too salty need to try watering it down a bit more. In 32 oz the water is flavored but not overpowered. I sometimes don’t care for stevia sweetener, but I don’t notice it in this and it tastes fine to me.
I do agree that it’s kind of hard to mix up. I used to use a milk frother whisk and that worked great. Since my frother broke, I have to use a fork to whisk it and make sure to pour the powder in gradually or it clumps up.
I found this to be the most affordable electrolyte drink per serving, plus it doesn’t have added sugar — so that’s a win, win.

I mix 1 serving in a 40 oz bottle, plenty of flavor. Helps keep me hydrated and decreases the dizzy spells I have. I really like the mixed berry flavor and will be trying other flavors.

No one will ever mistake this for a fruity beverage, but it’s the best electrolyte powder (of over a dozen) I’ve tried both in flavor (Mango only) and effectiveness (all the flavors I’ve I’ve tried). Every flavor is equally salty. This electrolyte powder is pretty expensive, but it’s the only one that I keep repurchasing.
MANGO – It took me about a week to get accustomed to the saltiness — now I love it and crave it. And from the start it was heaps better than the overt sweetness of almost every other electrolyte beverage I’ve tried. (The only other brand I really liked the taste of was some of the no sugar versions of Gatorade.) I was despondent when the Mango was out of stock. Now I’ll make a point of keeping an extra package in reserve.
PINA COLADA – I was able to drink this while the Mango flavor was out of stock, but I did not particularly enjoy it. I was able to finish it off by mixing it half and half with the Mango.
STRAWBERRY LEMONADE – This barely tastes of strawberry and the lemon tastes artificial and a bit metallic. My husband was able to tolerate it and rescued it before I tossed it into the garbage.

I’ve been using this electrolyte powder for a couple of weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The taste is refreshing without being overly sweet, and it dissolves easily, making it perfect for workouts or long days when I need extra hydration. I did notice some black specs in the mix, which I believe come from the salt, but they eventually dissolve as well and don’t affect the taste or texture.
What I love most is the clean ingredient list with no unnecessary fillers or artificial junk. It is reassuring to know I am putting something good into my body. I am also happy to support a business that prioritizes quality and transparency in their products. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay hydrated while sticking to clean and natural options!

Context:
I’m doing a 5 day fast and needed electrolytes.
Pros:
I feel better after consuming the drink. As in I’m getting the electrolytes I need, which is the point of the drink I suppose.
Cons:
The best I can describe the taste would be; salt, vinegar, chalk dust, and a hint of flavor. If you’ve ever done colonoscopy prep you know what I’m talking about.
Tldr: It works, but it may be a struggle to get down

I take the 40oz Coleman AUTOSEAL water bottle filled with ice water to the gym. Drinking to thirst while I work out, it’s not uncommon for me to get through all 40 oz before I finish my workout. My gym has a purified water dispenser and I would refill my bottle. I started noticing nausea creeping in. At first I thought it was just a difference in water – I have multiple levels of filtration at home, salt, charcoal, and RO.
Through some research, I came to the conclusion that I needed an electrolyte drink to replace everything lost through sweat, not just water, and that too much water or ineffective hydration could both lead to nausea while lifting. Now I take a 28 oz blender bottle with Redmond Re-Lyte as well as my 40oz Coleman, and it has made a huge difference.
If nausea starts to set in, drinking Re-Lyte immediately fixes that. The heavy salt flavor is also incredibly satisfying when I’m soaked with sweat from squats or deadlifts. I can literally see & feel the difference this product has made, both in my logs of the work I am able to get done at the gym and how I feel while drinking it.
Also, the last time I checked, the price point comes in very reasonable, comparable to Gatorade Zero but less plastic to throw away and eventually end up in the ocean.
