  1. Johnny Nichols

I’ve used shin guards with tae Kwon do, karate, Muay Thai and mma. I’ve used Venum, Meister, Revgear and other RDX shin guards. These ones are BY FAR the BEST I’ve had. They fit perfectly. They’re comfortable and breathable. Best thing about them is they do not move around like the regular Velcro strap ones do. When I spar with these, I do not have to constantly fix them after every kick which is amazing. Because of how light weight they are, I barely even notice they’re on my legs. The protection they offer is great. Not too much to where you don’t feel anything but not too little to where you feel everything. Shin conditioning is very important to me and I even when wearing these, I can still condition my shins without risking any serious injuries. I highly HIGHLY recommend these to everyone. Beginners and pros

  2. Britley Ranstadler

One of my self defense instructors told me to “go cheap” when buying my first pair of shin guards, and these RDX’s certainly fit that. Despite the low price, I found they fit really nicely, offer great protection, and, most importantly, don’t move.

These RDX’s don’t budge! I attended my first sparring class today wearing these and didn’t have to adjust them once through multiple rounds of sparring, and I favor kicks (especially round kicks, which other brands of shin guards usually move around a lot on).

The fit is excellent! I’m a plus size woman, and normally most straight-size knee-high boots don’t fit my wider calves, so I was a little worried about these because you can’t adjust the fit around the same way you can with the ones that have velcro straps, but I didn’t need to be worried – even with my wider calves, these fit super comfortably without constricting blood flow. I did measure my calf height and instep before purchasing and decided on purchasing a medium based on the sizing chart, and they’re spot on.

As I said, I favor kicks when sparring, and in addition to the comfortable fit and not moving around, these were really great for protection. I can feel impact when kicking or blocking kicks with my shins, but it didn’t hurt – the padding absorbs the impact really well. There’s padding on the calves and padding for the top of the foot, and both sections are great for protection.

A few smaller details – I wore these in bare feet, so I’m not sure how they’d work over shoes, but they’re definitely stretchy enough to fit. They are a tiny bit difficult to get *off* (not difficult at all to put on) just because the pad is pretty rigid, but I can make it work. I did not get overheated, even though they cover your whole calf back and front – they’re super breathable and very lightweight. Overall, I’m incredibly impressed with these, especially since these are one of the cheapest sets of shin guards you can find. I’m definitely going to be purchasing another set in the future!

  3. Robert Marshall

Bought to wear during MMA/kickboxing. Comfortable and easy to put on. Would recommend others that participate in these activities to purchase!

  4. Slava

    Using for kickboxing

  5. Kevin

Faccio allenamento di kick boxing e Muay Thai, il para tibie è molto bello e comodo

  6. Neil

These fit me just right, and are great for training. It doesn’t hinder your mobility and doesn’t scratch you like those other shin guards because it is made of soft material

  7. Diddy33

Very comfortable good padding for how thin it is great value and it doesn’t slide down when you’re kicking, which is a big plus for me

  8. Alberto

De muy buena calidad, 100% recomendable vienen muy bien Acolchadas La verdad son las mejores que he comprado

  9. John Goldberg

Protects legs and feet very well and is comfortable.

  10. Kevin

Padding is extremely thin and cheap. Maybe ok for bag work but definitely NOT sparring. Not convenient as you have to slide it on like a sleeve. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra 20-30 on a QUALITY pair that will last you

  11. Amazon Customer

Saw another guy wearing at tourney so ordered a set. Love them much better than my foot only pads. I’m 51 now so not as robust as I used to be these are a nice addition to my gear.

  12. Gary Logan

Good pads they stay in place. Entire knee is exposed though. So checking kicks get interesting.

  13. Kanileʻa Ukulele

They are good quality, but the gap by your foot and shin is big compared to the more expensive ones. My 3rd sparring sesh with these, I kicked my partners knee right in that gap, its sore and all inflammed. If you are planning to spar, I would recommend getting something more stiff and a smaller gap, if you decide to go with these just becareful with kicking and not landing in that gap.
