Started working out in august and was looking for a adjustable dumbbell that’s efficient to swap weights. This is perfect. Only downside is that it’s kinda hard to grip like a kettle bell but its alright.

These barbells are built to last, except for the flimsy plastic pin used to hold all the weight together. My package arrived in good condition, but as you can see from the photo, the plastic selector snapped on one side. I’ve reached out to Powerblock to see if they would send a replacement, but I’m debating whether it’s better to return it. If this thing is so easy to break, it suddenly doesn’t feel as well made as advertised.

So, it’s completely my fault. It is listed in the description and I must have skipped over it, regardless it’s still upsetting. I was excited to get a new set of dumbells. It was down near 200 dollars so I pulled the trigger and bought one…… this is where I messed up. This is not for a dumbell set, it’s for a single dumbell….. I’m really not sure if I just want to keep the one dumbbell or return it but make sure you click that you want two if you are looking for the set. The deal is now over so I’m almost paying what I would have paid for the 2nd dumbell as I would have paid total if I had got the set originally.
Edit: it is as advertised and I caved and bought the second pair at the normal price. Really poor mistake on my end but I’ll relearn to read all the way through before making a decision like that again.

I recently ordered the PowerBlock Pro 100 Adjustable Dumbbell and while I was impressed with the quality, there was a slight misunderstanding regarding what I received.
What I Liked:

What I Didn’t Expect:
Single Dumbbell: I wasn’t aware that I was only receiving one dumbbell when I placed the order. This led to some confusion and ultimately resulted in my decision to return it, as I was looking for a pair.

Love these dumbbells. Main reason I got them was to save space in my garage gym. Wished they had a 5 pound attachment for them. If anyone can advise me if they do have attachments let me know. Behind the head workouts are a little more awkward but they are doable.

I really wish it was less expensive, but the balance and feel of the weight is fantastic! Based on price I thought this was for TWO dumbbells, so get ready…this ain’t cheap! However, I’ve enjoyed this piece and it gets a lot of use!

They are what you expect. They are long with all the weight attached. The top of it when you measure is a little bit over 19 inches the bottom is actually a little bit smaller around 18 1/2 inches. The weight Is accurate well as accurate as a bathroom scale. Easy and fast to change the weight via the sliding fork. Changing the smaller weights are a little bit more complicated but easy enough. The rubber grips are the perfect size for my hand size. Have not had them that long. I will come back in about a year to tell you about the longevity and quality.

ich überlege nun seit gut 2 jahren mir die teile zu kaufen. hab sie nun nach langem hin und her gekauft. und boom. ich kann nur sagen die teile sind ihr geld wert. erstens. die 45.4 kilo sprich 100 pfund hebt keiner so schnell. aber ich habe mich trotzdem dafür entschieden da man im nachhinein geld spart anstatt mir also die leichteren zu holen und die ergänzenden gewichte im nachgang. sprich gleich im voraus schonmal die schweren nehmne auch wenn die als buchstützen mal für ne zeit dienen und nicht bewegt werden können bin ich dennoch mit blick auf die zukunft zuversichtlich sie mal in vollem umfang bewegen zu können. ^^
man liest online von powerblocks die schon seit 20+ jahre in verwendung sind.
