As a lifelong Nike/Jordan wearer, I was hesitant to purchase a non-Nike brand to play ball in. However, since moving next to an outdoor court, I’ve burned through my high dollar Jordan Brand kicks and was looking for a low cost alternative. I found these, read the reviews, and took a chance. After all, free returns.

I just received these today and I can say I’m very impressed. I normally wear a 10.5, but opted for the 10 as I know Nike’s run a little smaller. They fit perfectly! Out of the box I’ll enumerate each feature then update after I’ve played in them:

Toe box: Plenty of room to wiggle the toes and seems breathable

Arch: Comfortable arch, not too high, not too low

Heel: Cushioned and cups the heel nicely

Insole: Lightly cushioned, which explains the bad review on cushioning. However, I wear Spenco insoles in all my ballin’ shoes so it’s no issue for me.

Lateral support: Just cutting left to right on my tile flooring seems stable, but I’ll update once I take to the court.

Lacing: It’s a secure fit and the laces seem to come across the instep at the right spots. The lacing into the mid-top/ankle keep it snug, but I will update again once I play in them.

Outsole: Feels like a thick, hard rubber compound for playing on outdoor courts (duh). I’ll update with traction/grip once they’re played in.

Last but not least, appearance: Well you guys see the pictures. They are nice! I purchased the Grey/White model which is a very clean look. The two pair of lace tabs have a strip reflective material, which is a nice addition. The upper material is a mesh design over what reminds me of Nike’s Flyknit, wrapped with a seemingly durable synthetic rubber. The mid-sole is bold but shaped nicely to give it a cushioned, aerodynamic look.

Like I mentioned before, I will update my review with actually playing experience in a competitive environment at first chance. The one cringe-worthy issue I have with them so far is that they’re a Chinese company and I hate to give US money to the Chi-comms.

I hope this review helps many of you decide.

They are good-looking and well-designed. However, I would love it if the tongue of the shoe was not so high, it irritates my lower shin when I bend over or squat. They also aren’t the most comfortable shoes due to the stiff soles and tight toe cap. I have worn them for over 12 hours shifts and I find I have to adjust my toes every few hours. I’d still give a 4-star and recommend it despite the shortcomings because I do get compliments for wearing them, and they do well on the Tennis court.

These look nice, with lots of choices in colors, and the price is very reasonable. But in NO WAY do these compete with the name brand basketball shoes in terms of performance.

The heal seat is good. It is supportive and balanced. My biggest issue is with the outsole at the ball of the foot, which is oddly asymmetrical, with more material on one side than the other. That causes my foot to shift to the side with less support as I put my weight on it. That could lead to an injury.

When playing basketball, the sole feels more spongy than a basketball shoe should. If you using these for a casual stroll in the mall, you probably good. But if you plan to work out in these at the gym or on the court, I cannot recommend them.

Son wanted these for his birthday to play basketball 🏀 in and he loves them. Fits perfectly and looks just like picture. Great for the price

i got these for my brother and he loves them! he has a hard time with shoes cause he likes to play a lot (he is 10) and is always running around so somehow of course his shoes rip or break. these are very sturdy and he says they have good grip for playing basketball in!

  6. Pasquette G.

  10. BajaSands

I use these for only when I go to work out at the gym. They are comfortable , well constructed and fit well. They have broken in easily only after a few wears. Haven’t played basketball in them yet. Great value for the money.

  11. Ayanna

I typically wear an 11 men’s, but after measuring my foot, the size chart indicated that I needed a 12. I was very nervous until they arrived. The size chart was perfectly accurate and they fit great and are very comfortable shoes

Tenis muy bonitos, diseño retro. No sé si de verdad se podría jugar basquet con ellos, pero para caminar largas distancias son muy útiles. Buenos materiales, talla correcta, amplios de horma. No son tan versátiles pero tienen su encanto
