This is by far my most favorite water bottle, I now own 4 of these and our whole family love loves them. These out beat my Yeti’s in my opinion. Easy to clean, durable & 100% keeps your drinks cold for 24hrs, even with ice still left in the bottle. Love the fact it has a spout for drinking or straw feature. Highly recommend product that won’t disappoint. A+++

Bought this for the fact it has a built in straw as well as an open spout. The bottle looks great, so far no leakage and keeps drinks cold. I find the straw element makes me drink more which I’m not complaining about. The button to release is a little stiff but again I’m not too bothered as then I know it won’t accidentally open. The carry handle once down also stops the button for the lid from being opened too which is good. When full the bottle isn’t too heavy which is great and is great quality. Unlike other reviews my bottle arrived in perfect condition.

My bf got this and he got the 32 oz because he thought that the 40 oz would be too bulky and he loves it. It is very compact, easy to carry around and has very cool patterns and colors. The straw even acts as like an alternative for the anti wrinkle straws I have seen on Amazon and even TikTok.
One thing to keep in mind- it does not fit in regular sized cup holders. But, as it is spill proof, you can leave it rolling around with no worries.
Also it came quick and I am outside of the US.

Normalerweise schreibe ich nichts zur Lieferung, diesmal erschien es mir wichtig: Die Flasche selbst war nur in einem Plastikbeutel, der zusammen mit Verpackungspapier in einem Amazon Karton war. Glücklicherweise war sie unbeschädigt – wenn der Lieferdienst unvorsichtiger gewesen wäre, könnte es da aber schnell zu Dellen kommen. Bitte besser verpacken!
— Funktion —
Das Wichtigste ist die Funktion. Und die ist hier super! Bügel aufmachen, Knopf drücken. Beides einhändig problemlos machbar. Die „Strohhalm-Funktion“ finde ich einzigartig – man muss gar nicht fest saugen und es steht kein lästiger Strohhalm aus der Flasche! Auch das „normale“ Trinken ist angenehm. Diese 2-in-1 Lösung ist perfekt. Dass man die Flasche am Bügel tragen oder mit diesem den Knopf des Verschlusses „sichern“ kann ist auch gut. Kein Auslaufen im Rucksack! Die Flasche hält 100% dicht.
— Verarbeitung & Qualität —
Über Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen. Die Flasche scheint gut verarbeitet zu sein, alle Teile fühlen sich wertig an. Kein Grund zur Kritik bisher.
— Reinigung —
Der obere Teil kann in den Geschirrspüler, bisher gab es da keine Probleme. Sehr gut: Die Silikondichtung des Mundstücks lässt sich super einfach entnehmen und extra reinigen und im Gegensatz zu anderen Flaschen ist das endlich mal ein großes Teil das nicht so einfach verloren geht. Ich hatte einige Trinkflaschen bei denen ein kleines Silikonteil verloren ging und die dadurch undicht waren. Den Strohhalm innen kann man entfernen und mit einer Strohhalmbürste (empfehlenswert) reinigen. Damit sich da sicher keine Bakterien absetzen mache ich das händisch, er kann aber auch in den Geschirrspüler. Der Ring an der Deckelunterseite ist etwas schwieriger rauszubekommen – da könnte Owala noch nachbessern. Den Metallteil der Flasche sollte mit der Hand gereinigt werden (damit die Beschichtung außen möglichst lange hält). Mit einer Flaschenbürste und Spülmittel in einer Minute erledigt. Generell spüle ich die Flasche täglich mit Wasser aus, alle paar Tage wird sie gründlich gereinigt.
— Isolierung —
Ich bin kein Wasserflaschen-Profi aber kenne natürlich verschiedene Modelle. Ich kann nur sagen: Wasser aus dem Kühlschrank ist auch am Ende eines Arbeitstages nach 8-10 Stunden noch angenehm kalt. Die Isolierung scheint gut zu sein.
— Einschränkungen —
Kurz gesagt sind das zwei Dinge:
Kohlensäurehaltige Getränke sind vom Hersteller explizit nicht empfohlen. In meinem Test gab es keine groben Probleme; beim Öffnen muss man Aufpassen dass durch den Druck der Deckel nicht zu stark aufspringt bzw. Beim Öffnen das Getränk durch die Öffnung des Strohhalms raussprudelt. Das ist aber nur der Fall, wenn sich z.B. durch Schütteln in einer Tasche oder Rucksack viel Druck aufgebaut hat. Dann könnte es auch sein, dass die Flasche undicht wird (wenn der Druck den Deckel minimal anhebt). Bisher hatte ich aber kein Auslaufen. Mein Tipp: Hat man die Befürchtung dass die Flasche stark unter Druck steht, einfach den ganzen Deckel vorsichtig aufschrauben. Dann kann gar nichts passieren.
Zweite Einschränkung: Die Flasche dürfte weniger stabil sein als andere; der Metallkörper kommt mir relativ leicht vor. Also lieber nicht runterfallen lassen.
Warum kein Sterne-Abzug? Owala sagt selbst man sollte Getränke mit Kohlensäure nicht verwenden. Das ist für Flaschen mit aufklappendem Verschluss üblich. Dennoch sind sie mit Einschränkungen möglich. Und zur Stabilität: Da muss man immer abwägen zwischen Gewicht und Stabilität. Wer eine möglichst stabile Outdoor-Flasche will greift lieber bei einer anderen zu, dafür hat man hier eine (für isolierte Flaschen) etwas leichtere Alternative.
— Fazit —
Das Highlight ist sicher die 2-in-1 Trinköffnung. Warum gibt es das nicht schon lange? Dazu kommt eine (sehr) gute Isolierung und kein Auslaufen. Ich kann die Owala sehr empfehlen.

As simple as it sounds, I love that the straw is attached to a fixed mouthpiece that allows you to sip from the same spot every single time instead of having to fish for a straw that gets bent when you close the lid. You also have the option to quick pour without changing anything about the usual function. Straw is detachable and stiff so it wont break easily and can be cleaned. The straw diameter is also wide so you aren’t trying to fight for water when you’re dying between sets but also not too wide where you’re big gulping a fire hose.
The insulation is very good as well. Has it sitting on a hot leather seat on a 104 F hot Texas afternoon while driving to the gym. The exterior got hot but the water remained cold as ever. Haven’t tested the temperature longevity but I don’t really care as long as i get long term use out of it. The build quality feels very good. I think I’ve found my permanent water bottle.

Es muy buen termo, no derrama y es fácil de llevar. Con los hielos si se derrite pero no sé si es xq el agua no está tan fría porque si mantiene el agua fría. Lo único malo es que venía con un pequeño daño que se muestra en la imagen

These are the best water bottles on the market. They’re so easy to clean and look so cute. It doesn’t fit in either of my car drink holders unfortunately but that just comes with the size of the bottle. The flip is very easy, opens well and quickly, and I’ve never had any issues with it. Personally I enjoy the sip mode with the straw, but it’s cool that you can down it as well. The best part is that I’ve never had any leaks with the bottle. I take it to the gym and back and it holds up well. Definitely worth it.

After working with a billion female nurses who have these I finally caved and got one of these. It’s hands down the best water bottle I’ve owned in 48 years of living. I got the 32oz bottle as it’s the perfect size for me.
Pros: color options, keeps drinks very cold, easy to hold, the straw and pour option is a game changer.
Cons: I wish the carry handle had a built in carabiner clip to snap onto backpacks, when I fill the bottle all the way the first time I open it it burps a little water out of the straw hole.
On a side not, I do a lot of yard work and work on my car in the driveway. I have had this bottle baking in the sun for hours. Sometimes the bottle gets to the point where it’s really hot to the touch (it’s a metal bottle) but the water inside is still ice cold. This is exactly what I needed. I’ve also dropped it twice onto concrete and while it got a ding, it didn’t loose it’s ability to keep drinks cold.
It’s so good I also bought my wife one.

Easy to clean, keeps drinks cold, and no leak issues after several weeks of regular use. The mouth piece will an internal straw allows the drinker to use the straw feature or drink like a regular bottle. Fits in the side pocket of a backpack for easy carrying.

This is the best water bottle ever. My water stays cold and it doesn’t leak. It also has a built in straw and a spout so that you don’t spill when you sip. Also, it has a latch and a button. Absolute genius and very functional! I’m thinking about getting another one incase I lose this one!
