It’s been a good product for me already, especially now that I am over 6 decades old. It wasn’t long ago that this fact literally slapped me in the face of realization and I decided to start fighting back against age in the best way I knew how, which means a lot more gym time when I can get it. I decided to change my weight lifting routine to fit more of my desired results and age…..rather than lifting heavy weights with just a few sets and reps to produce mass and raw strength as I did when I was younger, I decided to go with a routine of lighter weights with an increased amount of reps and sets to help with muscle tone and balance and, of course, to burn more calories and fat to combat a natural slowing of my metabolism. It’s seem to have worked out better, but I believe that it tears the muscles down more to exercise like this and the recovery time was admittedly a bit long @ first. This is just one of the ways where this product comes in handy. Glutamine is supposedly the most abundant amino acid in the body and rather than buying a good BCAA product, I decided to get this and combine it with a good Isolate Whey protein powder and a good dose of Creatine before and after exercising. This regime has already helped to cut the recovery time down to virtually nothing for me, even though I’ve increased my weight limits by 10% to 20% depending on the particular exercise. Granted, I still hurt a bit the morning after but I don’t think that I would be making progress without that being the case….that’s just the nature of weight lifting. But instead of days of down time to recover, this particular combination of supplements has decreased it to about 1 – 1.5 days and then I’m good to go again. It just seems to me that when you tear your muscles down by lifting, then they just get hungry and you have to FEED them with what they need most and, for me, this product is exactly that. Good product in my opinion and damn good Seller.

I’m extremely impressed with Optimum Nutrition’s L-Glutamine Muscle Recovery Capsules. As someone who works out regularly and pushes myself hard, I’ve been on the lookout for a high-quality supplement to aid in muscle recovery, and this product definitely fits the bill.
I love that each capsule contains a potent 1000mg of L-Glutamine, which has been shown to be one of the most effective amino acids for muscle recovery and growth. Since starting to take these capsules, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in muscle soreness and fatigue, which has allowed me to push myself harder in the gym and see better results.
One of the things I appreciate most about this product is the fact that it’s made by Optimum Nutrition, a company that’s known for its high-quality supplements and commitment to transparency in their manufacturing processes. I also love that the capsules are easy to swallow and don’t leave a bad aftertaste like some other supplements I’ve tried.
Overall, I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition L-Glutamine Muscle Recovery Capsules to anyone looking for a high-quality supplement to aid in muscle recovery and growth. It’s an effective and affordable product from a trusted brand that’s definitely worth trying.

My hubby swears by this stuff. It’s an amino acid so it helps with muscle recovery, strength and stamina. He’s a 58 year old competitive powerlifter in great health and this product is helping him!

Good supp for the value. Essential after hard training. Most effective if consumed with your pay workout meal. Be sure to include a little glucose and fructose to maximize cellular uptake. I take this with my post workout carbs and creatine, before my protein.

You don’t need to take it everyday. Only take it after intense workout or when you are sore. It will help in healing and reparing your muscles. You can take it with protein powder + creatine and mixing it. Taking the glutamine alone can taste bit bland and after taste would be even bitter. Mix it with something while drinking.

We have this on a subscription so it’s delivered automatically but in this last order 1/3 of the capsules were stuck together in the middle of the bottle making them unusable, however, usually, these are great.
Several capsules were broken and the powder was all over the other capsules and the inside of the bottle. I held the bottle up which you can see in the photo with the capsules stuck in the neck of the bottle in a clump. This was the first time we received a bottle like this so I sent a message to the company to let them know. We haven’t had any problems before and we are really happy with Optimum Nutrition’s L-Glutamine. We have found the product to be consistently good quality, good with muscle soreness. Helps with digestion and gut health so far.
