Yes this product tastes bad, but so do all other brands. The only difference is they (try) overwhelm the flavor with additives and sweeteners. I like this product because I can sweeten it to taste. Try mixing it with a bit of water and juice or try water and a gatorade powder packet. I’m a fan.

Can confirm with the rest of the comments – the taste it booty. But to be expected with an unflavored supplement. I found that powered Celsius covers up the bad taste. I used to get the flavored one but honestly who tf know what’s in those. Supplements such be clean with the least amount of ingredients as possible. Which is what this is. I trust the brand. I use some of their other stuff like beta alanine which is in a lot of pre-workouts that cost more. This works just fine, just don’t lie to yourself that you won’t mind the taste.

This is not a complaint – just an observation. I knew what I was buying when I ordered it. Pretty much tastes like you rung out your sweaty socks that you wore for a 10 mile hike in August and drank the juice. Horrible taste. BUT – it’s an unflavored BCAA. What do you expect. You get what you pay for. If you’re going to be mixing this in water and you can’t stomach the flavor – get a flavored one. I’m still giving this 5 stars. It is what it is.

BCAAs are bitter. This one is no exception. Mix it with something citrusy and it’s fine. Mixed with protein powder you can still taste it a little, but it’s not bad. Choke it down, it’s fantastic for recovery and promoting growth. I picked unflavored so I can mix it in anything, and that’s exactly what I got. Great product, but don’t expect it to be flavorless. It’s just unflavored.

I’ve used plenty of bcaas from different companies that are great, this one seems to be equal in terms of performance with them. It is EXCELLENT for the amount you get per the price. However, this product has a foul smell, and for a product that is supposedly “unflavored” it tastes as foul as it smells. I’ve tried mixing it with other strong drinks and the taste is still there. For the guy that said “it tastes like ground up skin and hair”, how do you know what “ground up skin and hair” taste like? smh sick… you not wrong though, I think.

It’s unflavored people, I don’t know why everyone’s complaining about the taste. Yes it’s bitter. What do you expect for an unflavored BCAA product? Lol. It’s a tradeoff for the price. If you want it to taste good, pony up the extra money and buy their flavored version. For the price and quality though, there’s not a better choice out there. Just know that if you buy this, you’ll need to mix it with a smoothie or something else sweet if you want to hide the taste.

If you are sensitive to smells or tastes this is not for you. If you are looking for BCAAs that do their job at a good price point this is for you. The smell is horrendous and smells like stinky feet. Mixed in other things it’s not horrible but definitely not as good as other unflavored supplements I have had in the past. I would still definitely repurchase.

I’ve been using unflavored BCAAs from various different companies over the years. They’re all mostly the same with some differences in mixability but they all share the same trait; they’re flavorless.

I surmised this product from Nutricost would be the same experience. I mix it in my bottle and take a sip. Like a surprise punch in the mouth, I find it wasn’t flavorless; it tasted like literal A** water.

Initially, I assumed it was an old, unwashed bottle. Second attempt resulted in a second helping of A** water. Like anyone not satisfied with a product, I felt this warranted a refund.

Firstly, there’s no refund option available. I then email the seller and its been crickets. My guess is the seller/manufacturer is aware if the poor quality control and made a business decision to play dumb.

Whomever is reading, STAY AWAY from this product and Nutricost. Unless you enjoy drinking sewage. In that case, carry on and may God help you.
