I like the machine. I think it’s effective. I work out usually at the gym but I also have a small gym at home that I use when I can’t or don’t make it to the gym. So this machine does burn calories and have my thighs, gluten and hamstrings burning after use. The thing I don’t like is the noise. There are pedal stopper at the bottom of the frame I guess to keep the petals from going too far down. But it is so annoyingly loud. Sounds like big thumps when you go down. So imagine that noise every single stride. Yeah that’s a huge opportunity for the manufacturer to modify that. Had I known about that, it would have been a deal breaker

It’s not smooth stepping you have to really move at your own pace and really push yourself but it’s good if the power ever goes out you have a way to stair climb

Was easy to put together by myself. Not sure how to keep it secure when folding up for storage, need to figure that out. One review stated they didn’t like the stoppers for the pedals. I used some of the foam from packing on them to quiet them down. Either way not a huge deal to me. Ma Hine works well and I feel the burn after only a few minutes. Time will tell how long it will last. Happy with it so far.

This machine is no good. If you’re looking for a stair stepper, this is not it. It is a slider with absolutely no resistance. I am returning for a refund even though returns are not free. So essentially I just wasted money on nothing.

1. Easy to Put Together
2. Well Built
3. Sturdy
The only con to this product in my opinion is the crapy counter that is supposed to count your steps. The screen sometimes goes blank and only sometimes counts your strides. Use your pedometer instead of counting on the counter.

Received a day earlier than expected. It was packaged securely. Instructions are straightforward. I only needed to attach (with included tool) 4 knobs, the pedals, the handlebar, and the monitor (which takes 1 AA battery and is also included).
I had it out of the box, put together, and packaging cleared away in ~30 minutes without help. Used it for the first time for 10 minutes, feels very stable and does mimic climbing up stairs.
Will update when I’ve gotten more use out of it, but 5 stars for my experience thus far.
