The stair stepper is robust. It is not all that smooth running. And the bar you used to hold on to for somebody 6 ft is still too low, forcing you to crouch over. Three possible adjustments can be made for different types of people. One of the screws, unfortunately, did not sit as well into the pole for the foot support, so that one took a fair amount of pressure to get it actually to screw in. But the other three were fine. Overall, this is a fine product that can be used safely, but there could be a better quality product that is more worthy. You can’t compare this to a device for a gym, but even then, you’re going to have to be somewhat careful as this is certainly not as robust as you can see in other equipment.
