I’ve been using these for about a year now. I’ve got no cartilage left in one knee and that means any unexpected twisting or missteps cause A LOT of pain. These braces are a perfect fit – they’re soft and offer good lateral support. I actually prefer them to the $600 brace I bought from a specialist.
It’s a bonus that they’ve got that gel cushion to keep my knee cap properly located and protected from bumps and kneeling. These Neenca braces have been worth every penny. And the one problem I did have with a brace was quickly replaced by the manufacturer – so they’re delivering great customer service too.
One side note – if you’re keeping active and don’t want to reach down for routine adjustments – I use wrap one band of athletic tape over the brace each morning, just above my calf muscle . Not too tight. This keeps my brace where it belongs throughout the entire day.

I purchased this for my mother who has really bad knee pain. (Mainly due to age) she really loves the comfort and support this style of brace it offers her. Easy to put on and it dossnt require you to strap anything tightly. You just slide on and thats it. My mother is a petite woman so I originally ordered her a medium. But to our surprise, it wouldnt fit. So I went and re ordered her an XL brace and it fit very well. So overall its a great brace. Just get a few sizes higher than normal.

I had a partial tear of my PCL almost a year ago while playing basketball. Prior to that I never wore any braces for my knees or ankles. However this was a major injury for me and I wanted to play it safe. 8 months after my injury I was finally ready to go back to sports. I was recommended by multiple friends of Neenca knee braces. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning however when I was doing sports I could feel the difference. I could feel that my knee is not being overloaded with stress when I run or make cuts. It is comfortable and not too restrictive. This knee brace serves exactly what it claims to do and I highly recommend it. I also want to send shoutout to their customer service. They acted very quickly and professionally to address my concerns on ordering the wrong size. Overall I couldn’t ask for a better experience product wise or customer service wise. 5 star all around.

My knees have been bone on bone for over a decade. Walking has become both painful and rather hazardous since I never knew when one of would just give way. Well over a year ago I decided to try knee braces and after reading all I could about the products available, chose my first pair of Neencas. The knee cap stabilizer was key to my choice and really helps.
This is my third pair. I put them on first thing in the morning and take them off last thing at night. Over the months, the pain in my knees has decreased greatly. They are not pain free, I still get an occasional stab of pain but the constant ache is gone. More importantly, I haven’t had knee collapse under me causing a fall since I started using them. I still can’t kneel down without holding onto to something, but am able to do my gardening and even climb the ladder.
These knee braces are very sturdy and I have three pairs of them so I always have one clean. When I measured my leg for the first pair, I was exactly on the line between sizes. I opted for the smaller size because I was concerned that the larger size might slip down. That was a needless worry. The tops on the smaller size tended to roll for the first weeks but they were otherwise fine. When I bought the second pair, I opted for the larger size. The top has never rolled and the don’t slip down. This pair is my second set of the larger size.
If your knees (or knee) are cartilage free like mine and you aren’t excited about having them replaced, I can’t recommend trying these knee braces strongly enough. They have been little short of miraculous for me.

I own a variety of knee braces thanks to crappy knees and worn out cartilage and barely perceptible meniscus. Most often I can just get by wearing a sleeve, but occasionally when I’ve overdone it the day before, I’ll need some stiff support for a week while the knee heals back to its baseline. I bought this brace to fill the gap between the super-duty brace with the external metal parts and just the fabric sleeve, and because it was the much cheaper alternative to the Bauerfeind which after years of use became worn out and finally had to be put to rest.
This brace is well made, thick, and has great elastic recoil and does a great job with compression. The compression and heat that it provide definitely helps my knee feel better and with the thicker material and internal ribbing, has more stability and structure than just a simple sleeve.
That being said, the stability offered by the side ribs is about average. Nothing particularly amazing. It’s better than having nothing, but not by a huge margin. It’s noticeable, but not amazing, and not even close to what the Bauerfeind offered. The patella pad kind-of helps stabilize my kneecap, but again, just barely. However, both of the internal ribs and patella cushion are soft and squishy and doesn’t have any pinch points. From looking at the pictures I thought for some reason they were removable, but they’re sewn in.
Of course, this particular brace is a copy of the ridiculously expensive Bauerfeind knee braces. When comparing between the two, it’s clearly evident that this one sold at a fraction of the price is a good copy, but it’s just not as good. The most noticeable difference is that the knee pad isn’t as comfortable or as supportive as the more expensive original. The lateral support is definitely not as strong either.
For the price I paid, I’m satisfied with what I received and it functions well, but I’m going to save up and buy the original because that truly is noticeably better and I really miss how quicker my knee recovered and how much more supportive it was.
