I ordered two boxes. One is nearly expired and the other is still several months away from expiring. This led to different quality bars. One pack is almost rock hard and all the caramel has melted down to one end. The other is everything I’ve hoped for in a protein bar.
The flavor is amazing without being overly sweet. As far as I’ve found this is the best price, however due to the inability to return I’ll continue to look for another place to buy in order to avoid getting another bad box.

These are my favorite protein bars. I think they have great value for the money. Fresh always and the texture is great, the flavor is awesome. The carb content is perfect for my diet and they are convenient for at home or on the go. They are on my auto ship because I use them so much. They taste delicious. Great protein content. Totally recommend this product.

big fan of the churro and crispy apple flavors those are real good, but i cannot say the same about the salted caramel brownie flavor. It is for some reason brittle and crumbles easily and the taste is very proteiny like other cheaper protein bars unlike the other two flavors ive tried

These have become my go-to protein bars. They are the best combination of taste, texture, size, and nutritional content. They’re pretty substantial which I like. 30g of protein, not too much added sugar. They can actually serve as a meal replacement which is rare since most bars are so tiny.
My top 5 favorite flavors:
1. Salted Carmel Brownie Crunch (very good, well rounded, not too sweet)
2. Vanilla Carmel Churro (very good, just a tad too sweet to have daily)
3. Crispy Apple Pie (in moderation, too sweet to have more than like every 3-4 days)
4. Peanut butter Pretzel (taste is mostly good, but very messy to eat and pretzels are dry)
5. Super Cookie Crunch (taste okay, kind of artificial protein powder tasting though)
Best value/taste/nutrition of everything I’ve tried.
I think the ‘Anabar’ brand bars taste slightly better, but they’re like 1/3 the size and they melt at room temperature, so I’m sticking with MetRx.

These bars are REALLY tasty; they’re basically candy bars. They’re high calorie at 390 per 30g of protein and thus fall firmly in “meal replacement” territory unless you’re trying to gain weight. But – they’re pretty filling. I tried eating one for breakfast and it made me almost too full.
I got these to supplement calories/protein for my teenagers who struggle to eat enough. They are perfect for that. They’re also perfect for grabbing on your way to the office or something when you don’t have time to get lunch. Just keep the calories in mind and eat accordingly and these will be a great tool in your arsenal.

The coating was a soft waxy texture, and weirdly flavored, which was only a ghost of salted caramel. Rest was dry, chaulky and gritty. All at the same time, what a win. I’ve previously had this brand in other flavors, and they were okay.
