Just mounted this in my home this evening and added 100 lbs of sand. Needless to say the top half of the bag is empty and, naturally, all of the sand is in the bottom half. Bag should be a bit shorter to accommodate this weight limitation. I’ve read other reviews saying that people have filled this bag with sand and old clothes, but guess I will need to look for other soft items to fill the bag. Ultimately, my experience with this product has been excessively poor. I was really hoping to use this bag this evening but it’s totally unusable. If I can’t think of something extra to shove in the top, looks like I’ll have to dispute the payment that was made to the vendor.

I use this daily, just stuff it with old comforters and t shirts and you’re all set

I’ve filled it with rags and use it for a few months now with no issue, definitely worth it for the price.

Great for kickboxing and easy to fill.

I have yet to properly hang this bag but I filled it 3/4 with sand and it holds up without tearing. It’s great for letting out your frustrations 👍

I find this bag is excellent for my Muay Thai practice and would be suitable for any strike martial arts practice. The “PU leather” (cute) skin of the bag is thick and shields the fill effectively. I filled my bag with pine shavings (available at Tractor Supply for less than $8 for 8 cubic feet). My bag took about 5 cubic feet of shavings, but will compress, so I’ll need to top it off from time to time. The shavings in the bag, together with the bag’s skin mimics soft tissue very effectively, so striking the bag really hard is extremely satisfying.

I bought it for my son to practice his boxing skills. Although it was pricey but it was worth it. Thank you.

Bang for buck, the best cheap bag out here.
Durable, large, easy to set up, 10/10.

Boy was my family annoyed when I raided their closets for old suits, wedding dresses, prom dresses and guest pillows to stuff this thing! Anyway, after evading their stupid questions, I hung the bag and just beat it proper. Felt pretty good. Would recommend maybe buying rags next time. Also, put a substantial weight at the bottom, tying a rope to my moms couch didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped.

Bag arrived with no issues. All the stitching is solid, connectors are solid as well. I stuffed the bag with clothes and sandbags, it weighted in at 76lbs, and it is fine so far. It holds its shape well. If anything bad occurs I’ll update this review but for now all its all good.

I would not recommend filling with sand…use old rags, cardboard etc. That kind of stuff

It has been many years since I’ve had a punching bag, but I sure did miss it. I came across this bag here on Amazon and it checked all my requirements.
1. Vinyl (it’s good quality)
2. Well made
3. Compact but sturdy
4. Bottom hook loop or attachment for a weight to keep it steady.
5. Empty.
I know that many people fill these with clothes, but I chose to go another route. We recently replaced our old foam mattress, so I opted to use that as my stuffing.
If you have ever tried work f with foam, you will find that it can be frustrating. But don’t fret. Here is my suggestion:
I cut the mattress close to the height of the bag…leave some space…trust me 😉
If you take the perimeter of the bag, that way you can cut the mattress in one strip of LxW for the bag.
I also rolled the mattress and taped the ends to help kept the cylinder shape. I cut one end at an angle as to avoid having a weird “bump” when rolled.
Next, I placed to large bag at each end to envelop the mattress and I taped the center of the bags together to create a seal.
Once I had that done…from one side, I made a small hole and put my shop vac hose and sucked all the air out.
Once I did that, it make it very easy to place the shriveled mattress in the empty cavity of the bag!
Once it was I inside, I turned off the vacuum and poked a couple holes at the top of the black trash bags (so it can expand)
I then Filled the top couple of inches with leftover foam and …voila! A filled bag that is light and manageable to move!
The top has a layer of material to close it like a laundry bag and then I zipped it closed.
Because the foam is from a sleep mattress, it is very dense, so hitting it is stiff enough to simulate a belly😀🤣 and can take a good kick or two!
I was very happy with my purchase!
