I’m brand new to making waffles, as well as making lower carb foods. I followed the recipe on the pouch exactly (water version) and used a Cuisinart double flip Belgian waffle maker on setting 4 (of 5). The waffles looked great and tasted familiar (yay!). But, they were too dry. It was that feeling of the waffle wanting to stick to the top of my mouth (ugh). I initially wanted to give up on the mix and move on to the next brand to try.

But, after learning a little more about baking and hydration, I decided to try again. Instead of 1/4 cup of water per cup of mix, I used 3/8 cup of water (half way between the waffle and pancake recipes on the pouch). I tried different settings on the waffle maker. On setting 5, there was no hint of the waffle wanting to stick to the top of my mouth. The waffles looked great and were firm enough to spread butter on. My husband and I called it a success. We didn’t need to continue the search for a waffle mix!

These are great for Keto and Low carb dieters. The taste is very neutral and taste great with syrup. Quick and easy to make. Would purchase again.

The best pancake mix i have ever had. I’m diabetic and was looking for a friendly pancake mix. I love it. These are high fiber so they are slightly grainy, if you’ve ever had Kodiak pancake mix it’s very very similar in texture. When you mix it it will look very because of the wheat lol don’t be shocked make sure you let it sit like the directions syrup or the constancy will be all wrong!

Makes good pancakes. A little dense but good for low carb

This pancake mix is great! It’s the best keto pancake substitution that I have found. They do create small pancakes if you try to stick exactly to the serving size, so that is something to keep in mind when making or considering buying. My non-keto family members also love these pancakes.

This is just add water. Which is great
After mixing the batter I added blueberries. Which made a huge difference. I bought Mrs Butterworth sugar free syrup as opposed to the overpriced Keto syrup which is doable. Only 4 grams of sugar. You’ll have to measure. Don’t just pour. Cooked it with coconut oil. It didn’t make the air bubbles like regular pancakes while cooking which made me uneasy. But, they came out soft enough, I wouldn’t use the word fluffy. But nice and soft. When placing batter in the pan quickly thin out the pancake. It was very close to regular pancakes. Im extremely satisfied.

I discovered a long time ago that I had an egg allergy, and had to cut out a lot of the baking/pastry meals before starting to find substitutes over the past year or so. I originally found this pancake mix at a local store, and have been kind of obsessed with them for a couple months now. They’re super easy to make just by adding water, letting it set for five minutes, and then cooking on the stove. It makes a good batch of small pancakes as well as large. The batter usually makes them thick, which is great. The only issues that I’ve been consistently facing is that they sometimes fall apart when I flip them or put them on a plate – despite the fact that they are thoroughly cooked through. Sometimes a big piece will fall off, it ‘ll break in half, or little chunks are left all over the place. The other small issue is that I prefer my pancakes to be a little moist with maple syrup but I don’t want my plate drowning in it. The pancakes really soaks it all up like a sponge but when I’m eating, I’m not tasting the maple syrup. I’m left wondering how much more should I put on or where does it all go.

I really do enjoy this brand of pancakes – it’s not really an issue to try to see if there’s a different technique to stop the breakage or maple syrup distribution. But I may try some of their other mixes to see if it’s a consistency with their products or perhaps try some other ones out there.

These are a good option for anyone looking for a simple way to have a slightly healthier pancake. I use an egg, almond milk, cinnamon and a little bit of vanilla extract in the mix and they come out pretty great. I usually add blueberries or some chopped nuts. You can make a great high protein topping by mixing some vanilla Greek yogurt and low sugar syrup. These are a regular weekend breakfast staple in our house.

Received the package in subpar condition, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, noticed ants on the product’s surface upon inspection. Haven’t had the chance to use the product yet, but the initial condition is a concern.
