Just recently got into jump roping and as I have started to improve, I noticed my licorice rope could not keep up with the speed that I needed to go. Did some research and found that in a lot of cases eventually a speed rope is needed on Amazon Amazon received the product tested out and felt, he got the job done and was a good value for the price. I do find a little bit of trouble for me specifically where sometimes as the roof is coming down and can snag your leg, which may not necessarily be a product issue may be a form issue, however with my licorice rope I didn’t find this to be an issue , overall I like the product and I’m still using it more than my licorice rope. Would definitely recommend. One thing I really liked was the ease of use being to make an adjustment to the size or I should say length of the rope was very easy. I just pushing back a pin and making your adjust. Weighted handles also really helped. I durability I’ve only had the product for a short time so I might make an update later.

Bought this item for my 11 year old daughter. She plays volleyball and jump roping helps with her vertical jump. It’s light weight, adjust to be shorter for her height and works well. She spends time jumping roping every day and still after months of use it is still in great condition, very durable.

Overall I won’t be using it as it hurts when you hit your legs. Faster than a normal plastic rope but painful when you miss and it hits your legs.

This product is legit, I bought it on a whim because I broke my previous 2. Out of the package it took me less than a minute to adjust! Handles are a Little bit heavier and have a smooth rotation. This is personally my favorite set of Jump ropes I’ve owned. It came with a storage bag and an extra set of cables and I can’t snap the handles in frustration when I hit myself in the back of the head too hard! 10/10 would buy again (But I won’t have to as these are durable)

I gave these 3 stars because these are too slick once you get sweaty because they are machined out of aluminum and have NO silicone added to the handles. I also have experienced a “roughness” that appears to be coming from the bearings a few minutes after I begin exercising. The rope still spends freely and I am able to complete my routine which usually involves about 44 minutes of jumping. I added bicycle handlebar cushions because they are so very slippery. I also found some light weight gloves that have a nice tacky surface for grasping objects that I wear which make the jump rope handles very easy to hold. I paid $10 for this jump rope and these are well worth the price for someone who is thinking about adding jump rope for their fitness. I use this jump rope for my long routine which is speed and without tricks and so I keep my rope really short. I really wouldn’t recommend this rope for learning tricks. The bearings are wonderfully smooth except as noted above which I just can’t explain or find a reason for. I have used a WD-40 type of lubricant on them only because of all the sweat that might have leaked into them. I have also purchased other “cheap” ropes which I still use for added resistance and weight. If you truly want to begin jumping rope, get yourself a beaded jump rope for around $4. If you find you enjoy jumping rope and you keep it up for more than about three months, 3/week, purchase yourself a good rope only if you want to make jumping rope your focus for fitness. It’s excellent for aerobic fitness and endurance.

The only, probably, complain is that it is wearing out relatively quickly but this is using the rope multiple times per week and hitting the concrete floor 200 RPM for 5-10 minutes. It comes with extra rope, which is good.

The rope looks great BUT after using it only one, the self locking mechanism on one side doesn’t work so I now have a new but useless rope! I tried to contact customer support and the email doesn’t work. I guess I will be throwing this one away and getting a new one. What a waste of money…

I bought this to help with my cardio training, and since I have a limited area to do it, I do it on the concrete outside. It comes with two coated wires (black and clear coating), and a plastic protector/bumper for the end of the rope. I’ve spent a good time with it now, beating it down and myself for this case, and I can say, it’s nice and holds up to the beating, even the plastic piece at the end.
It’s worth the buy for speed ropes, but be careful NOT to hit yourself. It is fast and wire!
