Quality/specs – the sound is amazing, connects to your phone or device immediately after turning headphones on. So you don’t have to manually go into your settings every time, which I’ve had to do with other lower quality headphones. The app is nice to adjust and mess with the equalizer. I usually leave it alone and it’s satisfactory enough quality sound. Battery is amazing!! I’ve had it for about a month and I think I’ve only charged it twice, and that’s because I assumed it needed a charge but once I checked, both times were still at 80%! It hugs your ears and provide a slight noice canceling feature but it is not 100% noise canceling. But enough that sometimes I’ve used the headphones without music just to lighten the noises around me to help me read.
Physical appearance – it is not aesthetically pleasing, there is a lot of space between the headset part that wraps around the head, not speaking on the part that goes around the ear. You can see in pic that it doesn’t hug my head in the areas above the ear. So it gives it a wide appearance and not necessarily rounded to the head. This does not affect quality or sound. Just appearance if you care about how the headphones look on you. Both sides can be adjusted and you can pull the ear pieces down to make them longer. I can comfortably wear it with a beanie/hat. It does also have a very snug/tight feeling that they do not slide off.
Would buy as a gift for friends/family.

I needed a pair of passive noise canceling headphones for listening to music for relaxation and to block out the neighbors as well as my ASMR at night. Did not want active nc because I want to be able to hear what is going on around me and still get a bit of nc/softening effect due to sensory issues. Looked at quite a few. Did not want to spend upwards of 100+ dollars and found these in a nice lavender color. Initially I wanted the blue, but it was going to take too long to arrive. JBL always used to make great Stereos, so I decided to go for them, and they were conveniently discounted in my price range for the holiday season. I love the style and look and the capabilities. Had no issues easily setting them up on my phone but I also wanted to be able to use my notebook at home. At first I set the sound up on the equalizer via the phone but when I went to use the computer the sound began to get worse and sounded muffled and like it was coming from a tunnel in a distance. The problem was easily remedied by updating my computer and going into the audio settings and toggling the sound button for both speakers. Did not know why it was set that way, but wanted to give a heads-up in case anyone else has that issue, because I was so frustrated was just about to return them. The instruction booklet is full of diagrams with no text instructions and the product help button has basic infor only and I did not find either to be of much assistance. The other issue I have is that the equalizer is not available if you link your headphones to the chrome book. It is only available on your phone app. This should be updated to allow for both. Some of us oldsters like to use their computer lol more than phone unless going out lol. Otherwise, this is a solid pair of headphones with great quality sound for a price that cannot be beat! Note: I have not yet tried to use the Siri or voice options for phone mic. That’s not my thing, who knows what the future holds, however. There are some nice features on this, oh and one other thing, the charging port is on the side of the right ear where it folds down and attaches to the headset. Hidden. Absolutely in love with these!

Insane battery life (72hours), super fast charging (0-80% in 15 minutes), comfortable, really good separation (in headphones of this class), good bass, nice EQ app that works well, BT connects to everything I’ve tried flawlessly, option for cable connection (nice to have) – I got mine for $40 on sale, and for that price nothing beats it. But even for $80 I’m not sure what else would be comparable for the features.
Only downside is no active noise cancelling; that is the 760NC – but it wasn’t worth the extra $$’s to me (and it also wasn’t onsale when I bought these) – the 760NC is about $40 more expensive, and if you don’t care about noise cancelling, get these. The 720’s also have about triple the battery life because of the lack of noise cancelling.
They could be louder is my only complaint, but I’m older and have blasted my hearing so it’s probably just me 🙂

I have been using these for three days straight without charging, the battery life is actually unbelievable. The headphones are light and do not squeeze your head or ears, so it makes long sessions of use an absolute pleasure. The sound is perfect and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Unmatched value with these for sure.
Pros: Extremely Long Battery Life, Light-weight and Comfortable, Great Sound, Reputable Brand.
Cons: Designed for use with mobile devices; using with a PC may be a pain due to BlueTooth latency and Codec sound quality (I still use them with my PC daily, this is really a PC/Windows issue, not an issue with the headphones themselves).

I’ve tried a lot of different headphones over ear or under $40 and have nothing but bad experiences. Most are uncomfortable. Admittedly, my head is big and the cheaper poor quality headphones are very uncomfortable on the ears. Also, the volume level is a bit low, even at maximum. This has been an ongoing problem with at least four headphones I bought.
Now, no more complaining. These are very comfortable on the ears, got them at a Black Friday special, and pleased with the performance. Easy Bluetooth connection. Multiple connections very successful. And the volume level with sound quality. Definitely a step up even with a value price.

I bought the JBL Tune 720BT Wireless Over-Ear Headphones for $40 during the Black Friday sale, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The sound quality is fantastic, with rich JBL Pure Bass that adds depth to music without being overpowering. Compared to my old Sony CH520 headphones, these offer much better clarity and a more immersive listening experience. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable, and the battery life is amazing, lasting up to 76 hours on a full charge. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and the foldable design makes them easy to store. Overall, these headphones are an incredible value and a noticeable upgrade from the Sony CH520s.
