Most of the customer reviews are right that the ball arrives in a smaller size. However, if you follow the instructions that the company states the ball is the right size. I purchase the ball to replace the original ball to my chair. When my balance ball arrived, it was smaller, but I filled up the ball, waited a day, or overnight (either way, the ball just needs time to stretch). The next day, I deflated the ball about 50% then inflate the ball with my air compressor. Guess what? The ball was the right size to fit into the chair. The material of the ball feels more durable than the original ball (maybe that’s why the ball needs time to stretch).
Take the reviews as a grain of salt. The company, in its description, states that the ball needs time to stretch and estimate how long to wait. The ball is the right size, just read and follow directions!

I bought this for my Gaima chair and it works great! Comfortable for sitting at my desk, sturdy and holds air forever. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to get this heavy duty ball. I have tried cheaper knock-offs and can definitely tell the difference in quality!

ball sent is way too small to be 52cm – more like 45cm, so does not fit the ball chair!

My husband got the chair that uses this ball from an auction and it didn’t come with a ball so I ordered this and it has worked out perfectly. It’s the right size and fits. Would definitely get again if I had to.

I got this ball as a chair to sit on. I am on the higher side of it’s weight limit and thus ball is holding up perfectly. Very comfortable. Exactly what I was looking for

This is the second ball I’ve needed for my chair and I thought I bought the right one but when I got it and blew it up it was so SMALL! They say to blow it up, let it sit a day, deflate it, then blow it up again to stretch it out enough. I measured it over and over, let air out and filled it up 3 times in the first 4 days, and still it was only 38cm max when it should have been 52. It does make a difference since the chair is already so short. Anyway, I let it sit for like 2 weeks then tried filling it up again and low and behold it stretched out A LOT, it can go to 56cm. I was worried I’d have to send it back, but it just takes a lot of time to stretch out. The first one did not, though.

This is a great ball and looks like good quality. Only used it a few times at this point. Not as large as I had hoped. It was for a replacement to a busted ball in my chair. It doesn’t sit as high as my older one. Still works well and I can still use it just don’t sit as high.

This ball is extremely hard. My butt goes numb in a few minutes. Way smaller and I contacted the company to ensure it’s the right size. They said it was. The chair I bought years ago was this super pretty green color and the ball matched. It was normal size and extremely soft to sit in which was great for lower back pain and SI joint pain relief. After having this chair for 6 or 7 years or so, the ball developed a teeny gash. So I bought this replacement. NO!! They don’t make the original ball anymore. There is no way I would sit on this ball for 5 mins at work. I even let my kid bounce on it to adjust and break in. Nope. Hard and way too small. Customer service with the company doesn’t seem to care. So if anyone wants to buy my chair base, let me know or send me a better ball that I can fit on my chair.

I had bought the chair that has this ball size, and it has been about 8-10 years ago, so the ball finally had a puncture and needed replacing. This is excellent, now chair is great again.

This ball fits my ball chair perfectly. At first the ball was far too small when first inflated. I let the ball sit for a few days then let half the air out and re-inflated it. It was then the perfect size. The firmness is also ideal for tummy crunches (not on the chair mind you) and other exercises. The material of the ball holds the shape and doesn’t squish flat like a balloon as some balls do. I recommend this product. Will likely buy another.
