I’ve been looking for new shin guards for a couple of week (I’m currently using cheap no-name gym loaners). I’ve tried Top King Pro Leather, Fairtex SP3 and SP5, and now these Fiving. Out of the 3 these Fiving have fit the best as far as contouring to my leg and feeling secure/snug.
Two complaints:
– I got the Large size (I’m 5’11”) and the top strap needs to be about half an inch lower. It’s uncomfortably high and digs in when I lift my leg to check a kick
– at the bottom of the shin area, where the fabric attaches the foot piece to the shin piece, there’s a bit of a roll of fabric going across the inside. It lands on the lowest area of my shin right above the top of my foot. After 5 minutes of walking around in these it’s starting to get uncomfortable from digging in: I can’t imagine what it would feel like after an hour of training.
Until I find something better I’ll keep using the loaners. They’re ugly, but they work and don’t hurt my legs/feet.

I actually bought two pairs of these for two different activities. Going by the size guide, these shin guards barely ever move around to the point where I have to adjust them. Now all I have to do is “land an ‘enzuigiri’ in a sparring session” and I’ll truly be at joy with these… lol
These are genuinely good shin guards!

I replaced a well worn pair of cageside guards with these, which are clearly knock-offs of a more ‘famous’ brand. My gloves are the ‘famous’ brand and these match at first glance…
So far everyone in sparing practice has been kicking me extra hard now to test these out when I check the kicks. They’re not bad, better than the worn set they replaced. Time will tell how they hold up.
Several people have asked to try them, and were really impressed with the quality for the price and wanted the link to them so they could get a set for themselves. That makes me think they’re OK.

I bought some very cheap shin guards that lasted me 2 months. So this time I did my research. This pair of shin guards had the best reviews for the price range. Excellent padding, Velcro, and excellent fit. I’ve had training partners of various shapes and sizes kick me while wearing these and it hasn’t hurt one bit.
I saw some people said the foot part of the pads came smushed. Mine were completely fine. Maybe they’re working on quality or there was a bad batch.
Highly recommended

Originally bought Venum Elite shin guards in medium, and the top strap was digging into the back of my knees. Bought these FIVING shin guards in small, and while the top strap is still a tad higher than I’d like, it’s far more comfortable for me and the length of my legs.
Actual shin protection is very good on these shin guards. Haven’t used them for too long, but if they last one year, I’d be thrilled and they’re affordable enough that buying replacements isn’t a problem.
The top of the foot protection was a bit wrinkled as mentioned in other reviews, but mine weren’t wrinkled too badly.
Would absolutely recommend for beginners and those on a budget.

The shin guards work well. The padding is enough for most drills and light sparring, which is what I would expect for the prize.
Other reviews say that the foot part comes crumbled, which is true, but it’s not that bad and gets fixed with a few uses. The same can be said regarding the stiffness. They get softer with use.
I am a 5’5” woman, and I bought the medium. In the beginning, the strap was a little uncomfortable because it is pretty high by design. So I would recommend buying the small ones if you’re that height or below.

I’m 5’1 and have tiny calves And these fit great. No more bruises in muay thai. Maybe slight turning of the guard on my shin if i kick bags without tightening them enough.

True to size. This project has good quality and is very durable. There is just the right amount of padding to keep you safe and overall comfortable.

The guards are comfortable and easy to take on and off. The straps are wide and a high quality velcro. The only problem is that the small wouldn’t fully fit around a larger calf.
I wear these over clothes and shoes.
The only problem I had with these was one of the guards sole section was bent and deformed making it difficult fully cover my shoe comfortably. I imagine it would be a bigger deal if I wore them barefoot, but I don’t train barefoot.
These are extremely attractive. I get a lot of compliments on my shin guards.
