Perfect fit for my small wrist! Band is soft and comfortable! Syned fast and easily to my phone. Counts my steps, gives my bpm, and hourly activity, and much more! Even tells me when I get a text! Love the quality, and the fact I can get additional bands for it! Slim, compact and perfect for me!

Ease of use is quite difficult to comprehend as it took me a few days to sync the device with my phone

Love this tracker, I know some others are more of a smart watch thing but I love it because it is so simple. I think I got it too wet once and I could not get it to reset but then a big update came along and that did the trick. You have to put the water lock on if you are going into the water with it, if you remember to do that then it really is waterproof.
It is the best value I found for a tracker that can simply be about weight loss and other metrics if you are into that but my girlfriend and I got these and compete to have the best cal in to cal out ratio which it tracks in live time, the food log is very easy to follow and has honestly been the biggest win for us to tie the working out part of getting fit with the food part and seeing it in real numbers hour by hour.
Highly recommend because of how easy the fit bit app works with it. The other watches just don’t give you the same kind of metrics that you see your fitness journey with food and exercise the same way. We discovered what times and activities and eating patterns caused us to get ahead or behind and not all were obvious. Just a small walk at the end of the day every day can shows big results

I bought this as a gift for my roommate who was starting his wellness journey. He uses it constantly and loves it completely. It fits his wrist perfectly and has been very durable for the year he has had it so far. He’s constantly looking at his heart rate and enjoys that feature. He also loves how long the batter lasts.

After looking at several different devices, I settled on the inspire 3. It has been awesome after 4 weeks. The health data had given me the information to make meaningful changes like with sleep habits. Lots of good light rem and deep sleep stage information. I found the Oxygen saturation to read a bit low as compared to a finger reader. My heart rate lags a little from my polar but generally very accurate.
I had a problem with a setting but the chat option guided me though it. It has a lot of value for the money paid compared to other systems out there. I definitely recommend the extra membership. There are lots of meditation exercise and other coaching extras that I have not explored yet. The peleton stuff is definitely interesting.

Summary – The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a very good fitness tracker. It counts steps, monitors heartrate and is even a sleep tracker. It has pretentions of being a smart device but don’t be fooled. If you use this as a simple tracker that links to a smartphone to download results you’ll be very happy with it. It’s from a well known brand, has a decent battery life and good accuracy. If you want a smart device then buy an Apple Watch as the Inspire 3 won’t do that properly and you won’t be happy. I like it but know it is limited and I’m happy with that.
Pros – Battery life. This will depend upon how you use the device. I have turned off all of the notifications and other stuff. I link the device to my phone once or twice a day for a few minutes and I don’t compulsively check the screen. In this minimalist fashion I do manage 10 or 11 days between re-charges. That’s very good for such a small device and I don’t have to remember to recharge it every night so I’m happy too.
Accuracy – It’s pretty good. Steps correlate with other devices as does heart rate. Sleep tracking is reasonable and apart from a well documented tendency to confuse deep sleep with light sleep it is consistent. These devices are only indicators and not proper medical devices. If you have sleep problems then a proper sleep polysomnography is what you need. But this is good enough. I’ve never been able to tell what the sleep score properly correlates too though. There are days when I can have a great sleep score and feel tired by 10:00am. it’s just a number not a way of life.
The indifferent – The screen is small and the choice of displays isn’t very good. I found one that works for me and I see no reason to change it. The screen is bright but very small. Another reason not to think this is a replacement for something like an apple watch.
Fit – the Inspire 3 comes with two soft, silicone straps. It is comfortable to wear. Just be advised that the device needs to be tight to the wrist to get proper readings. It can slip to a loose position and not be able to measure anything. This means that you’ll get maybe 9 out of 10 nights of sleep records then a junk one. And, if you’re lifting weights in a gym it will be useless for heart rate monitoring in those conditions. Otherwise it’s fine.
The Bad – Only to a phone? My old fitbit used to link to my desktop where I could use a large display to see the data. New ones like the Inspire 3 only link to phones. This is a problem with getting older but why do I have to look at a tiny screen (my phone)? Guess fitbit couldn’t be bothered to maintain the desktop software.
Fitbit Premium – aka the “con”. So fitbit want to charge you a monthly fee for premium features. How dumb do they think I am? I don’t see any benefit to this and certainly not for a “mere” $9.99. Don’t fall for this. The Inspire 3 is a relatively inexpensive device from a well known brand. it doesn’t need the extras premium can give and you don’t need to give Fitbit the money. It’s just another wasted subscription draining your wallet.
Conclusions – There is a lot to like about the Inspire 3 if you have the right mindset. it’s well made, comfortable to wear, reasonably accurate and with good battery life. It is a good tracker. It’s not a substitute for a proper smart watch even though Fitbit want you to think it is. If you’re happy to let it be a tracker with limited contact with a phone it will meet your needs. And meet them well. As a tracker it’s highly recommended. As a smart device with a premium subscription it’s a joke. Recommended with use case caveats.

I got this FitBit to replace another tracker I had that didn’t connect with any of the fitness programs I use. It has good reviews so I decided to take a chance.
I was looking for a simple tracker, so not all the bells and whistles.
I like the color and size of this device.
The battery lasted for at least a week of constant use. I only plugged it in because there was an update that needed to be installed (it tells you to connect it to the charger during this process). At that point it was around 40%, but was fully charged within an hour (probably much less actually, but I wasn’t paying attention so didn’t notice when it was charged).
You can set goals within the app, like steps per day, water consumption, weight…so many ways to customize. I haven’t really poked around and truly personalized everything yet, but I like being able to track my activity. It makes me more aware and purposeful in my effort to incorporate more activity into my life. I get little dopamine hits when I meet my goal.
I thought that the price was reasonable also.
