I recently purchased the Smart Hula Fit Hoop, and I’ve been quite impressed with my experience so far. First and foremost, I have to say that it feels sturdy and well-constructed, which is a relief as I was concerned about it being cheaply made. What I appreciate most about this hula hoop is how easy it is to use. At first, it took me a few days to get the hang of it and find my rhythm, but once I did, it became a fun and enjoyable exercise routine. I have high hopes for this product and believe that with continued use, it will provide the results I’m looking for. Using it for just 30 minutes a day leaves me feeling a good kind of sore, which indicates that it’s working those core muscles effectively. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase of the Smart Hula Fit Hoop. It’s not only sturdy and easy to use but also offers the potential for a great workout. I’m excited to see how it continues to benefit my fitness journey!

The plastic material is not of good quality. The use of the exercise is good.

Edited: the company offered a refund. I didn’t take the refund because a friend found me a replacement piece for the part that broke.
Bought six months ago, but it was put away, and we forgot about it. Brought it back out, and it broke after about 10 uses. I can’t seem to find the lifetime guarantee replacement part.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with this hoop! I’ve used it every day for a week, but today I had to end my workout early because one of the wheels snapped off of the device that spins the weight. Love the affordability of the product, but replacing the parts every week will get expensive.

I bought this after a friend let me try hers. It seemed like a good workout with less twisting than a traditional hula hoop, which is great for me since I have had herniated disc issues. I’m not quite up to 30 minutes a day yet, but have gotten to 20. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now, and still haven’t used it consistently enough to see any results, but it is a fun workout. I usually do it while watching TV. There is a noise factor to consider, I have to increase the volume on the TV to be able to hear it while using it, but it’s not a problem. So far, I like it a lot, just need to develop a habit of daily use to see results. I just shared the link with a friend, who is interested in buying one. It’s well made, simple to assemble and use. I recommend suspecting the links in like you think ot should go rather than trying to follow the instructions, they can be a bitconfusing. If you look at the links that are already connected you can pretty much figure out how to add or separate the links.

I bought this not knowing how to hoola hoop at all. It takes a bit of practice but after you get the hang of it, it’s quite fun! I usually listen to music, and do 15 minutes of rotating it left, then 15 minutes of rotating it right. With this specific product, there are “massage bumps” where it makes contact with your waist. Make sure you’re wearing thick materials over it, like a sweat waist trimmer or a bulky t shirt because it might be painful before or after hoola hooping. Personally, I wouldnt fully rely on this to start shedding weight quickly, I do enjoy the accessibility though when I feel lazy and slobbish to move around for a bit. Bottom line the product itself has not broken on me, and the wheels and weight on it are intact and slide okay on the hoola hoop. it is a bit loud when it goes around but that’s a given! The actual clips on the hoola hoop also are tight and clasped well, i’ve never had it fall off during a workout :)!

So I got this based on the video reviews that said it is easy and fun and effective. I am a big girl, pushing 300 lbs, and I wanted something I could do in front of the TV that I might actually use. The hoop arrived nicely packaged, and was pretty easy to put together, especially if you squeeze the “inner” link together just a little. But be aware, that not everyone is a natural at this. The first night I tried it, I was terrible at it. The only circles of the ball were all a result of me throwing it to start it. I just couldn’t keep it going. Then my 23 year old son tried it and of course, he could do it within just a couple tries! So some people are good right away, but not me, but I’m also not one to give up easily. The second night I tried again and was almost as bad. I tried shortening the rope but that didn’t work for me, but I think I shortened it too much. I also think I was trying to use too much hips, but really this really needs more of a back and forth motion of your whole body. The third night I started hopping back and forth from foot to foot and what do you know, I was able to keep the weight going, but with a lot of effort. The hopping quickly wore me out, I went maybe 5 minutes. The fourth night I shortened the rope just a little, so kind of medium length, not as much as before. I also figured out that I had the hoop way too loose and low on my hips, so I took out a couple of links and that moved it way up over my stomach. This seemed to make it much easier and I was able to hop smaller and go for longer, about ten minutes with only 4 or 5 “restarts”. I also found that it helped when my feet were further apart and one foot was a little forward. Tonight is one week later, and tonight I was finally able to keep the weight going with out having to hop. I could just shift my weight back and forth. I was also able to change positions with first one foot a little more forward for a while and then the other foot. This helped my back and knees to not ache. And I was able to keep going with just a few “restarts” for a whole half hour!
Now, is it fun…well I like it better than riding an exercise bike or walking on a treadmill. I keep it right on the coffee table, and so far I have used it almost every night. I do see myself using it most nights. I do feel my heart rate up a little, so I’m getting more activity than before and that’s a good thing. Time will tell if it is effective. No matter how hard I try, nothing has changed my weight more than 5 pounds in several years, so if this makes a difference I will be very happy. It might take a long time, but hey, the best exercise equipment is the equipment you will actually use.
