My favorite bag/pad gloves in 10/12 oz. Would not recommend the “mexican style” for sparring if you care about your partners.

I’m a bigger puncher than my weight class so I got these to spar in. I haven’t sparred in them yet but I’ve tried them on w hand wraps. They are definitely tight fitting lol I oiled mine as soon as I got them. The quality is unmatched. I got mine for 109 and I definitely feel like it was worth every penny. They aren’t comfortable but they’re still new I’ll update after they break in. The appearance is beautiful. Padding is a bit stiff. UPDATE***
After months of heavy use the gloves are still intact and not so much as a rip I truly understand the lore of fairtex and I’m now going to buy them for life lol

A bit tricky to sneak hooks in thru your opponents guard as they’re a bit wide but once you figure it out they’re just as good as any other glove. 10/10 recommend

I was looking forward to new Fairtex gloves. It really irritated me when they arrived and it was obvious they were fake. The padding is crap, the leather is fake, and they are pretty much unusable. I tried putting the bag, and it felt like I had no protection whatsoever…and they’re 14oz gloves. Ridiculous.

Decided on these in 16s since I didn’t have 240 to drop on another pair of cletos. They’re wide and obviously have a different feel from the Mexican leather. If they last even half as long as cletos though they’ll be worth it. Good fit, good thumb positioning, though the padding feels like sparring partners are going to feel knuckles on a straight shot. I’ll come back to this review if I run into major issues

Bought a 12oz pair and man the leather on these gloves are beautiful, I’ve bought lace gloves from yokkao but man the leather on these gloves is straight elite. Don’t hesitate to buy em specially if you’re into Muay Thai
