Started kickboxing and needed some gloves. Fit the bill. Probably would have gotten a lighter weight glove in hindsight. If you are just starting out, buy some hand wraps as well. Those provide extra padding, helps fill in the glove where fit is concerned and the wraps absorb the sweat as they are easy to wash/clean than the inside of the gloves.

My fault to not notice but these are the gloves with the thin mesh over the palm that tare & rip easy. That way you have to buy new gloves quicker to replace. Rip off.
