I got this ball because I wanted to start exercising low impact and it worked not a problem. The pump cut that comes with it works. The port removal tool works very, very well. The most important thing that you need to take away from this review is that the ball is in penetrable my friend weighs over 350 pounds and he sat down on this ball, nothing happened it supported his weight. He was even bounced on it and it held his weight. The reason this ball is a lifesaver is I have really bad arthritis in both knees and so I use this ball to help me with my physical therapy at home and it really has become a lifesaver for me. It doesn’t take a whole lot of room. It holds the air for a long time so you don’t need to constantly refill it.
For the money, this ball has turned out to be an incredible value so if you are doing shredding exercises, and you need to have full contact and full weiht on this ball, I highly suggest it

DynaPro 55cm Blue ball arrived last week without any instructions; no leaflet and nothing relevant to setup printed on the box. Fortunately, the hand pump is easy to figure out and I guessed correctly that the plastic rod-thingy is an air plug. Still, I had to guess about how much air to pump into the ball. I hope I didn’t overinflate, but have no way of judging this. I pumped until it felt pretty hard and required some firm hand pressure to depress the surface about an inch. After 5 days, the ball is slightly softer possibly due to the break-in stretching effect. I may pump in some more air to harden it up.
On the plus side, the ball seems very well made and heavy-duty. I expect it to perform well. I’ve used it for some floor exercises supporting my feet and legs but not for anything like back-supported crunches that the jock in the picture on the box is doing. I did use it as a chair for an hour or so and it supported me well.
There was no significant odor associated with the ball.
If instructions had been provided, this would be a five-star review.

Update Jan. 12, 2019: I’ve used this ball almost every day for over two years and it has exceeded all my expectations. I’ve only had to use the pump to add air a couple of times. I am changing my review from 4 stars to 5 stars and I recommend this ball without reservations.

Excellent exercise ball. Nice and thick and feels decently durable unlike the ridiculously thin exercise balls that are common. I use it as a bench. I also use it with a base, but the ball deforms enough that the base doesn’t make a huge difference. Better than no base though.

I bought this ball for our autistic 10 year old. He loves to bounce all day, every day. It’s been difficult to find exercise balls that are large enough and also good quality so he doesn’t pop them within a month (he’s a big kid). This ball arrived quickly, it was easy to inflate, beautiful blue color. It was smaller than I anticipated. I purchased the 65” and even after letting inflating, waiting 72 hours, and inflating again- it still seems smaller than the other 65” ball we have for him. We’ve had it for a week and it’s holding up good so far! I’ll update in a couple months to see if we have any issues.

First to note, the initial shipment to me was missing the hand pump. I reached out to the company to ask if they would send me a replacement, as I’d like to be able to take it on vacation with me. They sent me out an entire second kit, so now I have one to leave at home and one to bring with. On to the performance itself. I’ve been using mine for several months to help with stretching to treat back issues. I’ve had zero leaks, and the ball is durable enough to stand up to occasional pokes and prods from a golden retriever who thinks it’s a toy for him. I’m a big, heavy guy, and it takes my full weight without issues. The surface is textured nicely to give enough grip to hold it easily, but not have any unpleasantness to the feel. Given how it’s holding up, I probably won’t need to buy another one for myself, but if anyone in my family needs one, I’d definitely get another for them.

Have had the ball for one week. It seems to be of very high quality, and the hand pump is much nicer than the foot pumps that come with most other exercise balls. I would give this product 5 stars, but am deducting 1 star due to incomplete instructions. Specifically, it does not explain that PVC exercise balls take 24 hrs or more to reach their full size. When I initially received the ball, I fully inflated it and it only measured 55 cm (the next size down), despite the Amazon description saying it is 65 cm (which is the size I need). I packaged the product to return it to Amazon, but right before shipping it back, I decided to contact the manufacturer (DynaPro) via their website. They promptly responded in a few hours via e-mail (great customer service!) and explained that the ball requires a day or so to stretch out and reach its full size. So, I unpacked the ball again, re-inflated it, waited 24 hours, added some more air to the ball, then sure enough, the ball finally stretched out and reached almost 65 cm. So keep in mind, you must wait about a day, then add more air. I’ve noticed that many manufacturers of PVC exercise balls fail to give this instruction, and think it’s strange, since they could probably avoid some product returns by mentioning this instruction.
UPDATE 7/30/15: Have used this ball for several months now, and it’s been a great product. It has never lost any air, and it is of noticeably better quality and thickness than other exercise balls I sometimes use use at the gym. Dynapro replied to my previous review about needing to improve the inflation instructions, saying they will change their instructions in the future. Thank you! The four-star review I gave previously is now five stars.
