I work on my computer a lot, and my wrists get sore after a while. I got this to see if it would help with the pain and support my wrist and it did it’s job for sure. It’s comfortable to wear and has good support while allowing you to have full movement of your fingers so it doesn’t diminish your mobility. I bought a wrist resting pad as well so I use the brace and rest my hand on the pad and it’s a great combo, a lot easier on the hand and causes less strain. It’s made so it can be used on both the left and right wrists which is very handy.
I bought the full size wrist brace for my left hand as well and that one is also great. Overall, this company makes sturdy, supportive braces and they’re definitely worth the purchase.

Although the wrist brace is marketed for both left and right wrist, if you are left handed it is hard to write with the wrist brace on because the logo is on the bottom of the brace, when placed on the left wrist the bully part of the brace is on the bottom of the wrist but when placed in the right wrist the logo is on the top of the hand, which makes it easy to write with your right hand. I gave it 3 stars because it did work as far as stability and helped my pain when using my wrist but just made it hard to write with the brace on the left wrist.

Item received is NOT the item in the photos. Additionally, there were no instructions on how to wear the thing. There’s a 30 page booklet on arthritis (that I’m sure I could have found on Wikipedia) but no actual instructions. Just the picture on the cover. Taunting me…
Anyway so the one in the photos looks like it starts at the thumb and then continues in one long piece wrapping from the top of the hand to the outside of the hand, underneath, over the top of the wrist, and finally securing on the outside of the hand. So it completely wraps around the wrist at least once and then attaches to itself.
Instead, the one I got starts with the thumb hole almost in the middle, has some awkward Velcro thing on the inside which is damn near impossible to put on by yourself, and then the longer end basically wraps the opposite way from the above description, fastening from the bottom up instead of the top down after only wrapping like 3/4 of the way around the wrist.
The result is that it provides pretty much ZERO support to the outside and top of my wrist (the 1/4 that isn’t covered). I then kept looking through all the pictures and they all show the product I EXPECTED to receive, until I got to the very bottom of the description where there was a photo that had the palm of the hand facing the camera (comparing it to the full brace with metal insert I think), and I believe that is the product I actually got.
The only way to achieve the full wrap around wrist support that I wanted is to either completely ignore the weird flap thingy that goes over the top of my hand, or pull the whole thing so ungodly tight that I lose circulation in my hand and it starts to just hurt. Oh and when I wear it how I THINK I’m supposed to the Velcro part scratches the hell out of my wrist.
I saw one reviewer state they were sent an “updated” product that worked better for them, so maybe that’s the case and I just got some old stock. But either way, I don’t see how something that has like 25k five star reviews could be so useless, but idk… if it wasn’t such a pain in the ass to return things (I live overseas) or if I’d wasted more than like $18 on this thing then I’d return it in a heartbeat. But as it stands I’ve already wasted like an hour of my life fiddling with this thing and writing this review, and I don’t wanna waste any more time on it.

The relief I felt putting this brace on was instantaneous. As soft as the material is, however, it is kind of making the inside of my thumb sore. Maybe I haven’t put it on correctly. Regardless, I ordered a second one for my other wrist to wear at work to prevent it from developing the same pain. I’ve ordered many different braces on Amazon. This is the first purchase I’ve made that has offered any real relief.

Not quite sure what’s up with my wrist. Possibly arthritis. Pain limiting my range of motion. Long story short. I just received this today put it on and it literally feels like I have a new wrist. I was able to move about with whatever I needed to do without the ouch bleep gosh darn it. I’m very happy and very surprised how it keeps my wrist from feeling any uncomfortable feelings. Me ha ayudado bastante para aliviar el dolor del túnel carpiano. La uso casi a diario. Llevo con ella 6 meses. La uso principalmente para trabajar y me ayuda a mantener la mano en la posición correcta, de manera que mi muñeca no se doble y lastime el tendón de la muñeca de mi mano.
Sirve para ambas manos. El material es muy cómodo. Me gusta que tenga un punto extra con velcro además del extremo para fijar la muñequera, porque ayuda a tener mayor fijación. Creo que eso hace mucha diferencia en los resultados.
