My daughter is able to collapse this roller, place in her soccer bag, and pull out at practice! Coach wanted the girls to have rollers, but some are so cumbersome! This is a great option!

I really liked that this roller was collapsible and I could stuff some small socks in the hollow. I had to wrap a towel around it when I used it to make it comfortable, but it worked beautifully!

My 15 yr old is a baseball player and always needs to roll out his muscles. This roller has been so helpful because it easily fits in his baseball bag and works so well. He weighs about 140lbs and has no problems with it.

I was originally a little apprehensive when I zoomed in on the photos of this collapsible foam roller as I thought the raised edges might be a little hard on my back. I also have a foam roller purchased from Costco which is softer, longer, but has higher raised edges and the two are quite comparable.
The Fitster foam roller collapses to a height of 5.2″, extends to a length/height of 13.8″ and also comes with a nice cloth storage bag. As a bonus there was also an included red therapy bad which is useful for exercises while using the roller.
Prices of foam rollers seem to vary and it seems to be competitively priced. I would imagine you can purchase a non collapsible roller for less but with the Fitster you do get the product shipped to your door and save on storage space. Depending on the types of exercises you use your foam roller for this may be wide enough but I can still see a use case for some of the wider rollers.
I do like the carrying handle built into the ends of the foam roller and for me I expect to basically replace my full size roller. As mentioned in a few other reviews the collapsing/expansion mechanism isn’t perfect so you may have to shift some of the raised points a bit but it isn’t a huge lift.
If space is limited and you don’t need a roller that is longer than 13.8″ long I would recommend giving this a shot. Given the space savings and portability this is something that will keep your space looking cleaner and can easily be tossed in a backpack or suitcase if you need to bring a roller with you.

While I purchased it to be able to travel with it, it’s a big bigger than you might think when you fold it down. Definitely takes some space in your bag. But it’s a great roller and the folding part is cool. Honestly, I tend to use it at home over my non-collapsible rollers because it seems to get deeper. That said, it’s harder than a foam roller (obviously), so you’re going to feel it.

Portable, especially if you need this on a daily basis for pain relief and good value for money, but the catching on clothes is an issue. Would be helpful to add a cover, like the cover for a rolling pin. You can put it on after its expanded.

The gym at my last two destinations had no foam roller which I depend on for my back so i got this. Handy that it closes up for travel but don’t try to roll without wearing padding. The nubs are sharp and hurt a lot if you only wear light shorts and a tee shirt.
