The Cliff Keen E58 Headgear offers excellent protection while being lightweight and comfortable. Its snug fit ensures it stays in place during intense matches, and the durability is top-notch. Perfect for athletes who want reliable performance.

I’ve been using the Cliff Keen E58 Headgear for my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, and it has been fantastic! The comfort is outstanding. The soft foam padding provides a snug fit without causing any discomfort, even during long rolling sessions. I also love how lightweight it is, so it doesn’t feel bulky or heavy on my head, allowing me to focus on my technique without any distractions.

The durability is top-notch. I’ve been wearing it consistently for both training and sparring, and it has held up very well. The straps are adjustable, ensuring a secure fit, and the material doesn’t show signs of wear even with regular use. It offers great protection without compromising on mobility, which is essential in Jiu Jitsu where every move counts.

The design is sleek and simple, and it doesn’t interfere with vision or movement. I appreciate the ear protection it offers, helping prevent cauliflower ear while still allowing me to hear my coach and training partners clearly. It’s the perfect balance of protection and performance.

If you’re looking for high-quality headgear that’s comfortable, durable, and effective for Jiu Jitsu, I highly recommend the Cliff Keen E58 Headgear. It’s a must-have for any serious practitioner who wants to protect their ears and train with confidence.

Should have bought this originally. These are always one of the best quality head gear brands/style. Not only are the straps made out of extremely durable material but the foam for the ears is comfortable as well. Needs adjusted to fit the athletes head accordingly, especially if you have a child that wears braids. You have to take the paying off one of the ear pieces in order to adjust the straps and it’s overall easy once you figure it out.

This headgear will never be considered an easy to adjust headgear. It is a decent quality headgear but is very tough to get a good fit. It seems all that wear it have trouble keeping it from slipping down across their eyes. Since tape is no longer an allowable option to hold the straps together I found the plastic piece to hold the two straps together, available on Amazon but found cheaper at local sporting goods store, does help some.
The variety of colors is nice to have. Although the picture of the red in no way represented the actual correct red we received and expected. Little worried, but turned out the red was a true red, not the red in the picture at time of my order.
If the strap across the neck doesn’t work for you, there is a chin strap option sold separately.

The headgear works and is affordable, even if purchasing optional accessories.

I got this for my son who is on his high school wrestling team. Fits great and secure during his matches with comfort. When fitted right it will not slip and protects your ears with sound quality. The padding material has very good durability

  7. Asa smith

The go-to for wrestling headgear. Make sure you get it adjusted to your fit long before you start competing, they are not easy to adjust on the fly. They are however durable and protective so your wrestler doesn’t get cauliflower ear.

  8. Evan

I bought this particular blue/red pair for one of my daughters who was wrestling using borrowed headgear from the team. It took a minute to adjust, but once we got the fit right, it sat well, didn’t come loose as often as the others had, and did its job in protecting my baby’s ears. (Very important: Take the time to adjust the, admittedly difficult to adjust, head and chin straps, otherwise it will be a nice looking waste of money.) It can accommodate a headrag, be worn over short or long hair, doesn’t dig into the face, and when the chinstrap is properly adjusted, doesnt choke her while wrestling, nor get stuck in her mouth (plus it doesnt have that nasty chincup/staph-catcher). I would fully recommend this item as well as this seller).
