This is a good journal for a sensitive person. I mistakenly thought this would have a workout log, but nope.

    My purchasing error.

I like this book a lot. Using it has really helped me to be more aware of my choices and how much of it I’m eating. It also provides a place for meal planning and mindfulness. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was a “book mark” but it was barely tied to one of the spirals and was already starting to come apart. It feels like it was more of an after thought than an added help. But overall, the book is great. The colors are pretty as well.

I am so proud so proud of Jennifer and all that she has accomplished since I met her in San Carlos, Ca as the new Lite for Life Manager. It was Jennifer who taught me that inches lost and loose clothes were a sign of weight loss. As a busy mom, I relied on others to enlighten me on my weight loss and fitness goals. Her well journal has been on my list to do for awhile and I finally put my priorities first for me and ordered the journal. I was so excited to receive the journal and so impressed with content and the way the journal was organized. The journal has given me the gift of viewing my daily goals all in one. I highly recommend this journal and supporting Jennifer and her business!

I like to track my meals, but I don’t think it takes all this self-analysis at this point in my life. It’s ok for those who are tracking mood, outlook, life-plan each day. I already do a personal journal. This would be redundant for me as to diet. 🙁

I don’t know who makes this (sounds like a fitness coach), but I purchased the Blogilates journal a few years back and never stuck too it because it was for a full year and I also felt some parts of her template were just too specific. This journal is much more useful to me.

    THE WEEKLY ENTRIES
The weekly overview gives you a large spot to list three goals for the week and even a basic exercise plan (one line per day). The next page goes day-by-day with a few lines each to meal plan and then a box for your grocery list.

I don’t use the weekly meal plan page. If I’m planning, I’ll just write it into each day’s page. I wish this space was something more actionable, like maybe a recap for the previous week to relish in progress or work through setbacks. Reflection is important and there’s not much room for that in this journal.

    THE DAILY ENTRIES
Each week goes Monday through Sunday with a spot to write the date. I had to skip the first few pages because I started on a Thursday.

Daily entries give you room to list three things that would “make today great” (which I use as a to-do list) and three things you’re grateful for. There’s also a few lines for “one thing I’d like to keep working on” and an area to answer “How do I feel today?” In addition, you can check Mood Boxes and rate your energy level, self care, hunger, and relationship with food out of 3 stars every day.

There is PLENTY of space to track your food each day, and a spot to write the time you ate it. There are then columns for protein, starch, fruit, vegetables, and fat which I don’t use. I just write the calories and carbs for each meal in the bottom corner.

Under the meal chart, you can track water and other beverages and then there is a line devoted to supplements/medications and an additional line to describe your digestion for the day.

There is an area with four lines to describe your exercise for each day as well, though I wish there was just a generic notes spot somewhere on the page.

    THE END OF THE JOURNAL
I have just started using this, but I was kind of sad to see that week 12 ends like any other week. No space to reflect or rejoice. Instead, the Progress section begins, which includes:

Four pages to track your weight throughout the 12 weeks (there’s enough room to do this daily for the full 12 weeks, which I will do). Then there’s a Body Measurements page, which oddly has enough columns to track weekly but the titles are off (it goes Week 1, Week 2, Lost, Week 4, Lost, Week 6, etc.) I just wrote the date up top and plan to track measurements weekly.

All in all, lots of details I wanted but a few things could always be improved for general usage. I would recommend and might just buy it again! 🙂

Love this journal. It was well thought out and put together nicely for the user! It has helped me to track food, weight, body measurements, Exercise, and moods. Highly recommend. Very durable as well,

After I got my Wellness Journal for myself, I bought several more for gifts! I love that it is a 12-week journal — perfect of consistency and forming good habits. I find that the more I plan ahead, the easier it is it stick to my lofty health goals, and this journal is so beautiful and well organized, it makes the planning process fun and easy.

Loved that it’s light weight, value for money and the durability of it. Super simple and thorough to follow for those that don’t need anything complex! As of now, I do believe I will purchase again!
