Great for getting into smaller areas. I’m using this on the bottom of my feet. Nice tool good quality.

  2. YP

This tool is fantastic! I was impressed by the quality of it and it works great. The price point was exceptional.

Works well, and for the price, I don’t understand why people would spend almost $150 for ones advertised on instagram. This does the job well, especially when paired with arnica gel or any gel of your choice. The steel feels solid, and it’s got a good heft to it. Easy to use on the legs which is where I am targeting.

I just received it and I’ve already used it and, it did exactly what it was supposed to do to bring down the swelling in my wrist. I watched my occupational therapist use it similar steel tool on my wrist and, this one is a little bigger than hers is but, it works the same way hers did.
Very happy with my purchase and I know it’ll help me with healing and swelling.

First off a little background… I’ve been a constant runner, I usually run about 5-10 km each week, recently suffered a bad shin splints which feels like a bruise on my bone on my interior shin (near tibia). For three weeks, I’ve been in pain, and went to the doctors, iced and elevated, heat, rested, Advil and massaged it. Nothing. Was. Working.

This product here, is a life changer, after doing some research on “shin scraping” I bit the bullet and bought this. Literally today is the first day I used this, first of all, quality feels really durable and is really nice and easy to hold. After watching some tutorials on how to use it, I got coconut oil and rubbed the skin I was working on, and to my surprise, the product made me feel IMMENSELY BETTER. I no longer feel pain, it’s crazy how well this worked.

    Couple of tips:
    – Watch videos and tutorials how to use this
    – do it at about a 5-6/10 pressure, you’re supposed to feel slight discomfort, and redness on the skin is normal
    – use atleast twice a day to promote great healing
    – recommend using “Biofreeze” with this as it provides a “cooling” sensation for it

Recommend this for any person suffering shin splints.

Be sure you are gentle on your skin and are going the right direction for relief. Honestly, I went for therapy and they used one similar. I would suggest asking a professional how to use it. Minamly, watch a YouTube video. They certainly can relieve pain when used properly.

  7. Daisy

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this item. It’s very effective in easing muscle tension. It’s made very well, reasonably priced and comes with a nice case to store it in.

    very good quality!

I liked this so much I bought a set of three other tools and gave this one to my best friend who is a runner. Super easy to use, very effective, great fit in my hand without making it cramp. You just need a little lube/oil and scrape away. There are a ton of YouTube videos out there to help show you how it’s done or you can go to your local PT or athletic therapist to show you how to do it. I had my eye on a super expensive one (the one with ALL the ads lately) and I am glad I did NOT go that route. I feel these tools are just as effective and will not break the bank. Plus I could afford a couple of them for different muscle groups.

My son had been using and it is a very helpful tool.

  12. Andrea S

This scraper works exactly as it should. Solid construction and easy to hold. A great value vs those expensive versions out there. I use it to massage my legs, feet and shoulders after running/lifting and it helps with blood flow. Definitely worth it!

  13. E Tann

Has been made to a rather high standard of finish, not a perfect mirror finish but close enough for what this if for, it’s nice and smooth in the hand, and has a good heft to it. Good size in hand, not too big in my medium-large hands. This price($12) was the best I could find, not sure about value for money on this item, it’s such a simple design and a very basic material I wonder if anything over $10 is too much, but considering how much effort goes into making something like this, maybe it is a good value. This is where I would normally search on the Asian supplier sites and see how much these cost direct from China to see if it was a good price, but the difference here would be waiting a month or two to arrive or get it on Amazon in 2 days, so I would say it’s a bargain, I really wouldn’t likely find something like this priced much lower locally.

In the end it functions quite well allowing for a variety of deep and wide massage strokes and offers some leverage depending on how you hold it. And can even be used for pressure point stimulation in some locations.

After using this a bit, I was thinking this would be a nice project for woodworking, a simple saw and some sand paper and you could make a really nice massage device. It really doesn’t have to be made of metal. Would be nice to have these in much larger sizes for reaching around the back.
