    It leaves bad test

I ordered a box of chocolate chip and a box of peanut butter, both which I’ve had before. The chocolate chip tasted great, they expired 7/2025; however, the first peanut butter one I ate, tasted “off”, and very strange texture. I then noticed the expiration date of less than 4 months from now. Guessing they’ve been on the “shelf” a while! Actually got a pretty bad stomach ache after consuming so I threw out the remaining 3). Typically, for low carb, the peanut butter are very good!

  3. ZN

I like the nutritional content but taste is just good, not great.

  4. Lily Grace.

Bit chalky on the taste. But great way to get 10g of protein in.

I recently tried the Atkins Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie, attracted by its solid macros—high in fiber, only 3g net carbs, and 1g of sugar. While I’m not on a keto diet, I thought it would be a good choice for a sweet treat that fits my macros. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the taste. The texture is a bit dry, and the flavor lacks the richness you’d expect from a chocolate chip cookie, and it leaves strange aftertaste.

It does satisfy a craving for something sweet if you’re closely watching your macros and calories, but there are definitely tastier options out there that deliver better flavor. It’s an okay choice in a pinch, but I wouldn’t reach for it regularly.

  6. Jackie

The most delicious keto snack , I love it

  7. Sorry Nick but these are too sweet for my taste. Mary

Being on a diet and looking out for carbs these cookies have crushed my cravings for a decent chocolate chip cookie. Definitely not winning any baking contest but for what they are they are really good!

I want to start off by commenting on the fact that I’m thoroughly disgusted by the Manufacturer’s practice of stating in the questions section that these cookies are “Soy Free” when not all of them are. Only the regular chocolate chip cookie ingredients are listed as being without soy, but with this deception, who knows if they truly are. Both the Dark Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Cookies have Soy Lecithin listed in their ingredients. This really angers me because I could’ve become painfully ill by taking their word and eating them. As of this post, so far I have not. If in fact their ingredient list has changed then that answer should now be removed. This is especially egregious because the Cookies are way “too” expensive anyway, but I bit the bullet because I wanted something that I thought was healthy and without an allergen that makes me sick. I purchased 4 boxes only after checking to make sure they were Soy Free. I really feel that they not only should make this right by offering me a refund, but also apologize to all their customers that they could have made sick. This is so not right, and they should answer for this. They have a responsibility to be honest with their customers. Maybe as one person stated, that may be why the ingredient list is never shown for many Atkins product. Shame on them; how deceptive. What a terrible way to gain customers and make tons of money on an already overpriced product by means of outright deception. As of this moment, I’m no longer a fan of Atkins products. I hope others will follow suit and heed this warning. See both photos.

I usually like Atkins product, but this one had a really strong taste for a substitute sugar that I found bothersome and not very palatable.

  10. Bella

Cookies taste great and are easy to chew. Have a good chewy consistency. Mary

  11. Vicki Lynn Dangerfield

    Dry and bland taste

  12. Jmac

Next best thing to a sugary treat. I buy them 4 or more boxes at a time. Helps me stay away from processed sugar and they don’t affect my blood sugar.

  13. Jackie

I’ve loved every atkins product that I’ve tried so far – but this one doesn’t quite tick the box. It’s still fairly tasty.. but i was expecting a sweeter peanut butter taste. I’ll definitely rather go for the chocolate chip next time.
