My first purchase of this brand was the 7 day trial pack. I didn’t want to waste money on something I wouldn’t end up drinking. I gave my son one of the packets so he could try and I used the other 6. By the time I used all 6, I could already feel a difference in my skin, so I was hooked! My next purchase was this 40 count packet of Dr. Axe Multi Collagen. I like that I can grab a packet and just pour it in, no measuring needed. I can also take it with me when I’m on the go, that way I don’t forget to drink it each day. Some days I have it twice, in the morning in my coffee and in the evening in my nighttime cup of hot tea. There is a slight smell but NO TASTE. I have no trouble at all mixing it in my coffee or hot tea. I sprinkle it in on top and stir. I gave my daughter a weeks worth from these packets to try and she’s now hooked as well. She did have a little trouble on her first attempt to mix with juice. She put the packet in first and then her juice, which made it hard to get the lumps out. Once she switched to sprinkling it on top of her juice, she had no problem getting it to dissolve. The canister is the cheapest way to purchase this item. I plan to continue using Collagen Protein to see how it will help my various health issues.
UPDATE: I would LOVE to repurchase this item in the packets from Ancient Nutrition except they have dramatically increased the price from the first time I purchased from them!!! My first purchase was $38.12 and now they are charging $61.12!! NO WAY is this product worth that increase. The $38.12 was a stretch to pay for but it’s NOT worth paying $61.12, that’s just insane.

First of all, this product really helped me with going up and down steps (I am 70 and had problems carrying weight down a flight of steps). I went on vacation out of the country and didn’t want to carry white powder in a zip lock bag (LOL), so didn’t use the product for 10 days. I could really tell the difference. My knees starting feeling stiff, my nails started splitting and there was more hair in my brush and comb. Thank goodness, Ancient Nutrition offered this in single serving packets. A little expensive, but worth it for vacations definitely! My last vacation was domestic but I took the individual packets and was very pleased that I didn’t have to stop my supplements. Traveled up and down trails in national parks with very little difficulty. I highly recommend this product in its cannister form and individual packets for traveling.

I’ve only been using Dr. Axe for a couple of weeks now so I am still in the trial stages. However, I will say this: In the short time that I’ve been using it, I have noticed that my skin appears somewhat softer and my wrinkles do seem to be fading. My nails have definitely grown stronger, and my hair seems much healthier. That within only a couple of weeks. I can’t wait to see how far this goes! Also, there is absolutely no icky taste (BIG Bonus!). The powder dissolves better in hot beverages, so it works well in coffee or hot tea. I have found that I need to stir it a little longer in order to completely break up and dissolve the powder though. I didn’t stir long enough once and accidently got a bite of a chunk of the powder. That’s how I absolutely KNOW without any uncertainty that it has no flavor. There is no icky after taste and it doesn’t change the flavor of your beverage at all.

This is a miracle powder! It actually dissolves, even in iced coffee! I can carry the individual tubes with me and easily add protein to my iced coffee any where. I have not tried the powder in any other beverage but I can say that there is absolutely no strange taste when added to iced coffee….none! I can see this making perfect smoothies with additional fruit and veg for flavoring. A protein powder that is effective (my joints are less painful since beginning this powder every day) and that actually dissolves easily. This is just what I needed!

It was originally recommended to me by my chiropractor for my joints. But after taking it 2x daily, I didn’t notice any difference with them but I did notice that my hair wasn’t clogging the drain every time I showered. My nails seem a little stronger too. It dissolves best in warm liquids. I sprinkle it over my cold cereal & stir it in and I don’t even taste it. It makes milk taste like the old powder milk that my mom used to make if you whisk it into milk. I’ve also put it in a creamy soup & never noticed the taste. I like the individual packets because it’s easier for taking to work or when traveling.
