For the flat bench setting, it seems something is missing to secure the bench fully. Tried to get feedback from amzon or supplier, I got no response.

I bent my bench in half accidentally the day before I purchased this item…..this item was significantly cheaper in price than any other of the competitors that had the same specs so I was a little skeptical….but when I receive it- it truly exceeded my expectations (I use it for abs and lifting very heavy weight), the material is premium and nothing less….Granted I have only had it for a few weeks but it is a great experience I have had thus far with it….And I hit two maxes on it yesterday 😎

Great solid bench that is easy to assemble. It has lots of extras, including extra locks to make the bench more sturdy when it’s flat. It is also able to “fold”; however, it doesn’t fold like some of the other benches. I’m over 6 feet tall, and my head doesn’t hang off the end. One thing to be cautious of is that the legs aren’t very wide, so there is a possibility of tipping over if you aren’t careful. Overall, great bench.

For home gym pricing you have almost commercial gym quality, it’s definitely nicer than some commercial gym equipment. There’s plenty of steel, it’s nicely powder-coated, and this has nice adjustability- an incline bench that can go from decline to seated shoulder press and everything in between is rare. Oh, and it’s easy to assemble.
Where does it fall short? Mostly in the pads and packaging. The vinyl on the pads is not as heavy-duty as you’d see in a commercial gym, and the pads are not sized correctly to keep you off the hinge in a decline position. Add marginal packaging and you end up with dented or torn pads. Is that a big deal for me? Not really since I’ve built my own flat bench and pad and have leftover pad materials if I decide to upgrade this one.

Problems: 1) mechanism for going between flat and inclined is really annoying (requires moving two parts plus a release bit. 2) the bench is light and easy to flip if doing a reverse fly for example. 3) came ripped, as another user mentioned. Two stars instead of one because it’s inexpensive, but be warned if you want to do any serious work it’s not very good.

I tried contacting the manufacturer to see if the can send me a defective replacement part so that I can couldn’t have to go through the hassle of returning the bench. No response whatsoever after 7 days. Guess I have no choice but to re-box it and return it.

I have a small ‘home gym,’ no machines, just free weights but I was looking for a little more versatility beyond my flat bench to hit different parts of my upper body and this has been a nice choice. It hits any angle I need, and it’s solid and unshakable and allows me to set up tight for those heavy lifts with confidence. It was pretty easy to assemble. All the parts fit cleanly and accurately. There were no parts that didn’t line up quite right or that you had to force together, all parts fit tightly and smoothly. I have worked out on this bench several times and it is very stable, even on the heaviest lifts. I have not given the incline and decline full attention in the form or a heavy workout, but I have tried nominal weights at these angles as a test and I have very little doubt that this bench will perform at any angle with the same stability that it does flat. The raising and lowering of the bench and the seat work smoothly, the hooks on the back catch the bracket firmly holding the back securely at any angle. The foot pegs keep you from sliding off the bench while in decline mode and are nicely padded. The bench has over 2 inches of padding and is very supportive while you are benching in beast mode.
A couple of issues I have with this bench are as follows. This first problem is that the gap between the seat and the back upper pad of the bench is rather wide, and at my height, my butt falls right in that crack. I don’t think it takes much away from the many positives of the bench, but it does put a slight strain on my back when I’m trying to form my arch, so If I continue to flat bench on this unit, I plan to get a very firm piece of foam and cut it to fit in the gap. I do believe this can solve the problem. The other issue I have is that out of the box, you can see in one of the pics that the back pad has tears close to the where the fabric folds under and is secured to the bench. This bench has a 6 month warranty, so I plan to reach out to the company and work on getting a resolution. If there is any issue I will update my review.
So in conclusion, despite the couple of shortcomings, this is a solid bench, it’s simple to use, easy to move, very stable, very supportive, and I it’s at a good price. I use this bench, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a stable bench that also offers versatility and stable support at any angle.

Happy with this purchase. Takes a little time to figure the adjustments, but pretty sturdy and comfortable. Time will tell how durable the fabric is.
