So I originally purchased the $10 one and it was so flimsy and loud. So I returned and upgraded this $30 one because the description said it was quiet, not as flimsy and overall just a better product.
Well.. I do not agree with that.
As you can hear in the video, it is just as loud. It is just as flimsy. And the only upgrade that came with it is the counter. Which, I go by time anyway so I wasn’t concerned with that anyway.
My goal was to be able to step aside at work to do a 30 min workout, however, this is far too noisy to be able to do that. It is very disruptive.

I had recently purchased a one of these from a different manufacturer and sent it back, feeling discouraged. I decided I would try one more time and picked this particular item because it seemed like it had good reviews and the seller gave really good information about the product.
First, the packaging? So neat and clean!
Everything fits perfectly into molded trays, and there is a sticker inside the lid to remind you that there are 4 extra pieces “knots” under the tray.
One of the instructions says to remove some of the sand in the weight, which was super easy. I saved it just in case I wanted a heavier weight later, before I add water. (A lOT of thought has gone into this!)
The locks were tough, but the instructions did mention that and gave some tips. One opened easily, the other was stubborn. The directions said to use a solid object to push, so I used the edge of the table, reversed, reversed again, etc, for about 4 times, and the mechanism opens easily. Of course, you don’t actually NEED the lick, it’s just a good feature to have. I like the additional security it gives.
As for use ..
It was so easy! I am really terrible at hula hooping normally, but this was great! The last one I had didn’t say that it had to fit the waist snuggly and not droop – I was stunned that I didn’t need to use the extra knots!!!! It made me feel good before I even started!
Anyhow, the weight glides easily around the track, and I actually shortened the lead cause my cats were eyeballing the weight a little too closely. The weight itself is made of super sleek silicone, which is nice, and the cool, pale aqua is very serene feeling.
I only just started using this, but so far I really really like it.

Hey this is a really fun workout! I don’t use it every time I work out, so I’m not going to say if it helps with weight loss or not, but it’s a fun change of pace.
Its very easy to take apart and put together. I did have the weight fall off a couple of times while in use, but I learned that it’s a posture thing. I have a sway back, so it drops down in the front, putting extra strain on the links. As long as you keep it straight, there shouldn’t be a problem with the weight. Its still pretty sturdy. I feel like it’s actually helping me with my posture when I use it.

The only thing I wish it had was an app or something so you can keep track of your workouts. All in all I love this thing it’s so fun and doesn’t take up too much room!

Have only used this once. Seems hard to get it spinning without it stopping after a few times around.
Might just need more practice with it. Time will tell.

I like how you can change the size of it. It’s easy to assemble and feels sturdy. For the most part it’s a fun way of exercising. But the weighted ball keeps on flying out. I had to only use it outside so I wouldn’t break anything. It’s also really loud when using.
