There are 14 plastic jump ropes in this package. When I first opened it, I wasn’t expecting that they would work well, but when we tried them out, they seem to have enough weight to actually be able to flip over to jump rope. They seem pretty good so far.

We got these to add to our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes since jump ropes were one of the suggested items. They’re easy to pack, and since they’re adjustable, they’ll be great for the kids to use who receive the shoeboxes. The colors are nice and bright, and the material seems sturdy.

I ordered a pack of these and rushed out to try one as soon as they arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised.
I’ve been jumping rope consistently, often daily, for 40+ years. I’ve tried just about every kind of jumprope there is and have found the cheap ones work as well, for me as the expensive ones. Yes there are differences in the ropes, I just haven’t found the differences to have much effect on the quality of my workouts. YMMV. These ropes seem sturdy, work fine and the price is great. There are 2 things that cause me concern:
1. I just received the rope and don’t have any idea how long it will last. It seems well made. I’ve owned a few of these plastic ropes at various prices and these seem about as tough as any. If you’re jumping on a very rough surface, they may not last long. It shouldn’t be a big problem on a gym floor, carpet, or smooth concrete.
2. The ropes are short-ish. I’m ~5′ 10.5″ tall and they’re the perfect length for me out of the box without trimming. If I were much taller, the length might be a problem.
All-in-all I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend these.
