  1. Works great and stays in place

Like the fit and how easy it is to place and take off.

Has been very good. Most comfortable, stable, not over-warm, good for listening pair of headgear I’ve ever worn.

    There are three caveats, though:

    1. I did, once, put a nice red mark on a training partner’s forehead (actually my instructor… a little embarrassing) with these guys on accident. Uh-oh. Still, that was only once, and I use these a LOT.

    2. The ear pieces are soft plastic, not hard, so they won’t injure your partners (usually… see above). They have ‘give’ to them. But a few times, they have given so much that I could feel some pressure on my ear–not a small amount, a decent amount. This is rare, and has happened only a handful of times, and never enough to give cauli. But it’s worth noting.

    3. The foam seems to be wearing kind of fast. I don’t put it in the washer or dryer or anything, just rub it dry at the end of class–without any solvent, even. Just, the foam isn’t holding up. I genuinely can’t tell if it will hold up another few months or another few years.

All that said, the experience of using them has definitely been my best of any pair of head gear out there. Given how miserable most other pairs of headgear are, it might be worth it even if these only last one year and I have to replace them. If your headgear lasts forever, but is so uncomfortable that you don’t use it all the time, what’s the point? This is headgear that I genuinely don’t hesitate to throw on or feel reluctant to put on.

And that’s amazing, and worth a premium.

I have used this type of head gear since 2005. It is easy on the ears, you can hear way better than the other brands and they are customizable. These usually last a few years before they start flaking apart. I will continue to buy these in the future.

As a parent of a young wrestler, I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with the kids’ wrestling headgear we recently purchased. This essential piece of protective gear has made all the difference in our child’s wrestling experience, and here’s why it deserves high praise:

First and foremost, safety is the top priority when it comes to sports, especially contact sports like wrestling. This headgear provides excellent protection for our child’s ears and head during training and competitions. The sturdy construction and high-quality materials offer peace of mind, knowing that our little wrestler is well-protected from potential injuries.

The headgear is designed with comfort in mind. Its ergonomic design and adjustable straps ensure a secure and snug fit, preventing it from slipping or moving during matches. Our child finds it comfortable to wear for extended periods, and it doesn’t cause any discomfort or irritation even during intense training sessions.

Additionally, the headgear’s lightweight design allows for effortless movement and doesn’t hamper our child’s performance on the mat. It’s essential to have gear that doesn’t feel bulky or restrictive, and this headgear strikes the perfect balance between protection and freedom of movement.

The product’s durability is impressive. Despite constant use and regular impact, the headgear has maintained its shape and condition, proving to be a reliable investment that will last through our child’s wrestling journey.

    Size fits as expected

Got it for myself in about early-to-mid December. It’s a good headgear, it’s very easy to adjust the size, and I can still hear (near) perfect, even with it on. However, I’ve started to notice that the ‘glue’ (sticky substance) attaching the soft part to the velcro that keeps the plastic on is starting to come apart, and I worry slightly that the velcro may detach completely. But I just noticed this in practice yesterday, and if this becomes a serious issue, I don’t expect that to be soon. (Another small issue, and this is mostly a nitpick, but I wrote my name on the plastic part in silver sharpie, and it wore off very quickly) Overall, good product, good quality.
