You would never know these are a great protein source (just add a bit of vanilla. A tip given to me from a IHOP waitress when I stated why are the pancakes just so goid here. She whispered “they add vanilla”. It really lifts up the taste of plain pancakes.

My daughter is vegetarian and it feels like a constant struggle to make sure she gets enough protein. This mix is great for quick breakfasts. I mix up just enough for the Mueller heartshape waffle iron (makes thin 1/4” heart waffles that are about 8” diameter) and its done in less than 5 min if I start preheating the iron before I mix up the batter. Nice & crispy!

This is a good product. Tastes great. Easy to use. Made waffle with it and it was fine. Pancakes come out great too. I like that it is high protein. I add fiber, like flax meal and chia seeds to give a really healthy breakfast.

Like other people have said, these have a really good texture, but not much flavor. I like to add sugar free flavor syrups like caramel to the batter itself, erythritol, and cocoa powder to add flavor.
It’s a pretty excellent deal. One thing I’d like to say however, is that the nutrition facts say a serving is 1/4 cup mix, and the instructions say 3/4 cup mix. This means if you follow the instructions on the back, it’s THREE servings, not one. That’s 30g protein and roughly 400 calories. To add volume, I use cocoa powder, erythritol, and/or oat fiber or oat flour.
Anyways, I still love this mix, and use it a lot in baking. It’s a good deal, and since I don’t like cracking eggs, it’s convenient that this just needs water to work.
Pictured are some chocolate pancakes I made with this mix! It really is versatile.

I bought these for my kids to have something a little healthier that still felt like a treat and these were a huge hit. We use the mix for both waffles and pancakes and they always come out great!

We try to eat healthier at our house. Most protein waffles taste horrible. I have to say this brand never disappoints. You get the same flavor and fluffyness in the protein waffle and pancake mix that you get in plan mix. It doesn’t taste bad. I prefer this over the famous Kodiak brand. Birchbender company is known for their tasty products. You can eat healthy and not pay over the top prices in the name of health food. We haven’t tried their syrup yet but we are ordering it. I recommend mommas to try this brand. They have healthy ingredients and my picky kids love it!!!!!
