So easy to make into waffles. Great taste and healthy. Good texture and a filling breakfast

Great pancakes. Nice balance of healthy but still taste good. Have to be a little more careful not to overcook them compared to other traditional batters. Good way to get the kids to eat more protein.

These make great tasting pancakes and provides extra protein as well. Easy to mix and cook and these have been my favorite for a long time. Absolutely love it.

My family loves Kodiak cakes. If you are looking for a high protein start to your day or any time, these are our go to. You can add more eggs and milk or just use water.

Guys. You don’t know me, but there’s never been a time in my life I have been so drawn to a breakfast food. I have been 100% obsessed with the Dark Chocolate Kodiak Cakes. Does this sound like an exaggeration? Well buckle up, partner, because I’m about to take you on a ride.
I started focusing on my health most recently in March 2022. I’ve really buckled down after gaining some pandemic weight (but come on, who didn’t gain a little bit during all of that?!). So I started upping my protein and tracking calories so that I could be good to my body.
Fast forward to around June when I truly got into a balanced routine of nutrition and fitness. I was really struggling with finding high protein recipes I could really consider staples. At one point I bought the Dark Chocolate Kodiak Cakes pancake mix for some recipe I found online for a high protein dessert. And uh oh, I did not know just what I was getting myself into.
The dessert was decent but I decided to try the pancake mix as officially intended and made some pancakes for breakfast one day, around or on June 23rd. I loved them so much I wanted them again. And again. And again. I started looking forward to breakfast every morning and even sometimes midday I would verbalize that I couldn’t wait until breakfast the next day.
This may all sound like a joke, but I assure you I am dead serious. I love these pancakes so much that I have eaten them almost every single morning since that first day. The only times I haven’t had them since then are when I was sick with covid (and barely ate at all) and when the grocery store was out of stock.
Unfortunately the grocery store kept disappointing me even though I went multiple days in a row to try to get this elusive product. Nothing for days! I couldn’t just keep sitting around hoping it’d show up on the shelf, so I had to do something else.
I looked to see if I could get it shipped to me and noticed they had it in bulk. HOORAY! I can even subscribe and get a new bulk box of mix as often as I need it! I have to get the 6 pack, because let’s be honest, I’m a fiend for these babies.
So remember when I said I had covid? I decided to skip my subscription since I had a lot of mix left from not eating for two weeks. Let me tell you, this was a big mistake on my part.
Roughly a week and a half ago I ran out. My next auto-shipment wasn’t scheduled for two more weeks. I thought I would be okay; venture out and try new breakfast options, maybe grab a box or two from the grocery store (yeah, wishful thinking, I know). But I’m going to be honest with you, I am not okay. I need my pancakes! There is just something about starting my day with some delicious chocolate protein pancakes that jumpstarts my motivation and helps me be excited to hit my daily goals. Not being able to start my day with these pancakes have been such a rough time (absolutely first-world problems, I know, but give me a break, I am obsessed). It just kind of throws my day off track and I just keep looking forward to when I’ll have that sweet, sweet pancake mix in my hands once again.
If I ever run out (or they decide to discontinue them for some reason), I may die.
Tl;Dr – Fav pancakes/breakfast of all time, and the #1 way I prefer to start every day.

I love how Kodiak protein pancakes taste. It has the right amount of protein and carbs which does not make it rubbery like most protein pancakes. I also add 2 eggs, Greek yogurt and milk to the batter. In the past, I was using flapjacked protein pancakes and they do become rubbery if you leave them on the pan too long. However, that being said, flapjacked is higher in protein and lower in carbs compared to Kodiak. If you’re counting macros and going for calorie deficit, I probably would not recommend this. KODIAK is great for building and maintenance. I love the texture of Kodiak pancakes.

Made pancakes for grandson and to my horror he spit this small nail. It poked into his tooth. Just be careful. Alway check through prepackaged food before serving it to your children. I was lax in my diligence. The pancakes are delicious though.

I’ve been counting carbs, calories, and proteins and was thrilled with I found Kodiak Power Cakes in my local grocery store. Unfortunately, I’ve not seen it there since, so I’ve ordered from Amazon.
I’ve not yet tried this mix as a waffle, but the flapjacks are good (especially topped with a mixed fruit puree). I enjoy one as a late afternoon snack to tie me over until dinner. I like the muffins even better, though, and the muffin recipe is conveniently printed on the box. (I cut the fat content by substituting applesauce for half of the butter. They turn out dense, hearty, and so filling. I bake a batch ahead of time, freeze the muffins, and thaw when ready to eat.) They’re great for part of a tasty breakfast or a quick, satisfying mid-morning snack!
The flapjacks and muffins are not terribly sweet (which suits me); however, the recipe for each can easily be modified by simply adding a little Stevia, brown sugar, or chocolate chips if you prefer a sweeter product. You can also increase the protein grams by adding milk and/or egg instead of water. Again, directions for this are on the box. Easy peasy.
