The Blackberry Plum flavor is nice and strong without being too sweet, and the powder mixes easily with water. It does a solid job of keeping me hydrated during workouts, and the added BCAAs help with recovery. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for a hydration supplement with a nice taste.

This drink is almost too sweet for me at the recommended ratio and I find myself either adding water or seltzer to cut the overwhelming Splenda (sucralose) flavor. It initially mixes a lilac color but turns to a deeper purple color once all the bubbles dissipate. There is blue food coloring that doesn’t always mix initially, so don’t be surprised when you see dots of blue on top of the small bubbles. Also, don’t be surprised when you see the same color in the toilet bowl or on your toilet paper. I’ve trusted Nutricost for a long time now, but I’m not as much of a fan of the taste of this one and I think it’s just the Splenda that’s doing it.

Bummed that I mistook (really misread) sucralose for sucrose. I’m ok with sucrose (which is basic table sugar) but staying away from sucralose since its chlorinated sugar. I also don’t know how I missed reading the food colorings in this hydration powder (i.e., red #40, blue #1). I must’ve either missed reading it, after getting excited about the Supplement Facts/main ingredient info. I must’ve stopped & ordered after I came across “coconut powder” ingredient. This sounds like a good workout drink, with its 7 BCAAs. Just don’t like that it has sucralose.
Carefully recommended.

Im not going to vouch anything regarding supplement claims of BCAA or any of that sort.
My review is based on taste and ease of use.
Quality/taste is that it’s flavorful. Being as flavorful as it is, I do wonder how much sucralose is in it. I actually only do half the scoop in about 10 oz of water as that’s where the flavor level is perfect for me.
The powder mixes very easily in cold water. I make sure I have water in a bottle first, then add in the powder. (Powder before water made the powder go everywhere when the water landed on it.) Shake for maybe 10-15 seconds and it’s good to drink.
At the rate in drinking, (only post heavy workout days) the container will last me quite some time so I feel the value is there.
I haven’t had any noticeable side effects from drinking this.

I’ve just opened it up nd made my first rink yesterday. I didn’t look for directions on the bottle. So I put one scoop into 1 quart of water. The flavor was a very nice change from Lemon lime or Orange. I’m starting to look into the BCAA’s added to the hydration components. It’s an interesting idea. A selling point I look for in Protein powder. And I thought why not. This might be really good if you are just eating really good meals or maybe to pack with you on vacation.
I hit the gym really hard for three months before my last vacation and tried to pack all my supplements and that was very hit or miss as the vacation went on. We did eat really well and I did splurge here and there.
My Bro Science brain says this should be a solid product to add into rotation. Heck we just destroyed a bag of candybars last week and I’m only just getting back in the gym but m none the worse for it.
I’m interested to see just how this product works over this next month. Planning to try to have one scoop every day, not a dry scoop, what kind of savage would do that… lol. Never mind.
So far so good. The flavor was really really good. we’ll see.
Best of luck!

For a post workout, I have found that this one is really solid, and I truly have no complaints about it. The price is right, the flavor is good and the ingredient list is perfectly on point with other competitors.
