Makes a decent hot chocolate. No GMO ingredients which is why I tried it l. Doesn’t mix well in cold beverage without serious blending. The taste to me is slightly creamy as tho I added a coffee creamer to a rich hot chocolate powder. The scoop for a single serving is quite large. I didn’t measure but am guessing it’s about 1/3 cup.
Update…a scoop or two in a batch of chocolate chip cookies makes them kinda sorta almost healthy 😋

I was excited to try this chocolate flavored powder out and was really happy with the taste. Alongside a strenuous lifting routine, I took this and some creatine daily and was seeing results within a month. This would have been an easy five stars for me…
Except for the fact that it significantly stained my teeth. My teeth were white before I started this container and I noticed when I was nearly at the bottom that my teeth had been badly discolored between them (in the areas where you floss). I had been brushing thoroughly and flossing daily and that still did not prevent this from happening. I did an aggressive brushing and flossing session (much more targeted between the teeth and with more force) until I bled and it would say it partly removed the stain. Here’s hoping it gets better with time.
I do not drink coffee or any eat any other colored thing that this could have been related to. I have not changed my typical diet or routine in any other way. After I figured out what was causing it and stopped the powder, it stopped getting worse.
For me, this is a total dealbreaker. I cannot have my teeth looking like I haven’t brushed in years.

This product is a staple in our house. I’m a heart attack survivor, and this protein powder has helped my heart muscle to recover and my skeletal muscles to grow (along with 3 or 4 trips to the gym each week). It mixes well with a blender bottle; if you use an actual blender, the result is a bit too foamy.

Good quality product, tastes nice although I find all these products too sweet… A big scoop is like 40 or even 50g protein so it’s potent!

I used this for several months and had it on a monthly subscription until recently. I love the taste and that it’s gluten free. However, the price has gone up about 35% in about 6 months. It no longer represents good value at $1.04 per serving. I found another gluten free brand for .61 per serving. Bye Muscletech!

Review on Taste and value
If you all had to experience the protein powers we had to endure in the 80’s and 90’s you would love this. No one should be complaining about the taste. This stuff is good. Does it taste like a Hershey’s bar, or Nestlé Quick? NO, but it’s not far from it. One of the better tasting ones I have ever tried.
I love that is is derived from grass fed cows and non GMO ingredients. That was the main selling point for me. The value for the money is the other selling point.20+ servings for 21 bucks can’t be beat. This is way better then ensure, or boost, or like products, and is only around ONE dollar per serving.
I already know this kind of product will help you in your gains and working out. Used them for years since the 80’s. There are a million similar products, all made to compete with each other. Nothing replaces hard work and dedication, and consistency when it comes to working out. When it comes to these products, they work, it’s just a matter of choosing the best value for the dollar.
Product is fresh, clean, dissolves smoothly in milk. (I use a blender). In the old days they did not. They used to be clumpy, chalky, and you had to hold your nose and slam it and just get it in you any way you could. We take these for health reasons, not for enjoyment. BUT…. This is very enjoyable. WIll go great in cereal, or along side some pastry in the morning, or any time of day. It will be hard for me not to drink a few times a day. It’s that good.
