    This journal missed the mark for a balance of workouts and nutrition. The monthly calendars are great for checking off but too small to write in. There are many pages for tracking and organized. It does the job.

    I want to find a book that will be easy for me to use in the gym, as a beginner. I am not positive this is the one for me? I do like it, but I am not in love with it yet. I love the color (I got the Purple). I will update if that changes. I do really like that it starts right out with Goal Setting. You can set 1 or 2 or 12!! I would not suggest setting 12, BTW. Too many goals gets you distracted and down on yourself when you cannot keep up. I normally really like a wire bound, lie flat style in a book like this. I feel like this one might be too tightly bound as it squeaks as you try to turn the pages. That alone might be my reason for “not loving” this book Also, I prefer to have the little strings that you can use as bookmarks or placekeepers and this one does not have even one. I think I will add some tabs onto the page edges so I can easily find a couple sections that are only a couple pages long. I am still giving this 4 stars because it is not the books fault about the slight sqeaky noise.

    In this last year I’ve been on an adventure to live a cleaner healthier more active life. And that’s not easy. I was looking for something that I could use to gently rate my progress and be able to analyze what’s working what’s not working and kind of hold it close so I saw this and I decided what the hell.

    Now I’ve only just started using it but I love the size the pages are really easy to use not overly complicated with this kind of craziness and it’s stuff that I want to track that’s important for me.

    This is a perfect size exercise journal. The pages are large enough to record my workout of the day. Keeps me organized. I like to look back at previous workouts and see my progress
