Bought for my 8 year old, very active, daughter. Easy to put together. It’s a good weight for her (and me). She’s used a hoop previously that bruised her but this one hasn’t done that. I like that I can take it apart when she doesn’t use it much and can easily put it back together. Nice feel of the material it’s made of. Would recommend.

Not easy to put together for the child who will be using it. Flimsy and not sturdy at all. I would have sent it back if I had been able to.

This is okay. If we leave out two sections it works fine, but if we put together all the sections in the hoop to make it larger, it flops (the weight of one side pulls it down so it has a slight bend) so it is not stable. It’s perfectly usable for my 6yo with the fewer sections but she will outgrow it quickly at this size, and also the smaller size spins pretty fast. We have a larger fitness hoop that is metal and there is no flop. This one is plastic, which we anticipated for the lighter weight, but it’s not quite what I’d expected based on our experience with other similar hoops.

Der Hula kommt in Einzelteilen zerlegt in einem kleinen Karton und lässt sich leicht zusammenbauen. Man kann die Anzahl der verwendeten Elemente variieren.
Es gibt bestimmt Kinder, die den Reifen mit 4 handhaben können, aber in der Masse ist das definitiv zu früh.
Ich würde sagen, vor 5 wird das in der Regel nichts. Die Qualität des Reifens ist gut und ein anfänglicher Geruch verfliegt schnell.

We haven’t used a hula hoop since we were kids and could not resist trying this one. Our first attempts were pathetic, so we turned to YouTube for some pointers. The first thing we recognized is that, as adults, we need a much larger diameter. This hula hoop is 95 cm, so it is designed for children of 12-13 years, or perhaps small adults. I am confident that we can get some exercise with this small one, but it will take lots of practice. Just getting it to spin could be good exercise in and of itself. But it will likely end up in the hands (or on the waist) of a young family member.
The hula hoop itself is easy to assemble and disassemble for shipping or storage. The Amazon product page says that there are electronic instructions but we did not find any nor were there any written instructions. The side of the box does have basic illustrations for assembling and disassembling.
Even though we connected each section tightly, while using it one or two of the pieces disconnected. That could be a problem with regular use of the hula hoop. Overall, though, it seems well made.

funktioniert echt super aber leider ist nach kurzer zeit ein teil in der mitte gebrochen
zum glück hatten wir ein reservestück da die kids nicht so ein großen reifen brauchen & ein verlängerungsstück weniger angebracht hatten, was wir dann ausgetauscht mit dem was kaputt wurde
aber hoffentlich wird kein weiteres stück kaputt
